Is this how Urinals usually are?

So recently due to a long line at the ladies room. I made my way over to the men's room, there were about 10 urinals along the wall without any dividers.

I made my way to the stalls but since there were six guys there I noticed the guys penises very clearly due to a lack of dividers.

When I came out of the toilet and went to the sinks I snuck a glance to the side and saw some more dicks (I kind of feel a little guilty that I got a free peep show) but I was just wondering if any ladies noticed this if they went into men's rooms?

And most importantly to the guys. Are urinals usually like this?

Tbe manufacturers sometimes don’t care and probably think:

be a man! Less money out of our pocket

no dividers just mean guys will skip one and use the other.

Straight men probably and most likely stare at others using the urinals, even just at their face.

They’re quick too. Not racing, just not lingering.

I would assume gay guys would take a peek

or highly competitive guys may peek to compare size,

and some guys may just not care and feel empowered to talk to another guy while they take a piss.

I guess there’s some general stuff and code, but every guy differs on some level.

I know all this because I like guys.

Most of the time there are dividers in my experience, unlike how it was in the past. Washrooms in older buildings do not always have dividers. The worst one I encountered was like a trough where guys would stand around it.

Usually yes, however male restroom etiquette is never look to the side when you are at the urinals. Not unless you want to fight or give head.

I'm having a difficult time believing this story. I mean yeah it's common for there to be no dividers, but unless you work pretty hard at it, it's almost impossible to see penises when walking by a line of urinals due to the angles involved. The only way to see penises is to be actually standing at a urinal and looking down at the guys next to you.

Yeah, it's usually like this. If the establishment really don't care about privacy it will get one of those steel long ones. I don't know if they have a specific name to them.

Yeah, that how they are. I once snuck a peek at a co-workers penis. I don't mind that; I just take care of my own business without looking around. If someone sneaks a peek at my tiny tool: good for them.

I don't know how I would react if I were to "catch" a woman taking a peek at my tool while at a public urinal. I guess it would all depend on the circumstances.

In college, I lived in a coed dorm that had a large coed restroom. All of the urinals had dividers between them but it was dumb because you could easily still see his penis.

@paige90 Yeah lol sometimes dividers aren't that useful anyway cos you gotta stand back for splash back anyway - i've used unisex bathrooms with urinals that had dividers but they were too small. Women at the sinks would still clearly look at our penises

@paige90 If its to help the queue times for women i dont mind, but It was embarrassing! because there was a bus of uni aged women (foreign) lining up at the sinks and would clearly glance at our penises and giggle/whisper to each other lol. I could even hear what some were saying haha. But you get used to the lack of privacy in some parts of Europe. Im guessing urinals at your college dorm were similar and you could just see a row of penises lol? Did you find it awkward?

@Redgreenwood I felt awkward the first days of the semester as there were naked guys in the showers and getting dressed but after a few days you get totally use to it and it isn't a big deal seeing them or them seeing me.

Yep I've been in toilets which have no privacy, depends on the country. Once at a concert I remember women queueing up for the men's toilets, and the urinals were like a foot from the sinks, with no dividers. You basically had multiple women at the sinks, clearly looking at our penises the whole time they washed their hands lol.

Most men's rooms do not have dividers between the urinals. Some do, but they're a minority. It's an unwritten rule to not check out your neighbor's dick when using a urinal.
