Not a big deal at all. The dorms that I lived in in college had been coed since the 1970's, with coed bathrooms. You get used to it quickly; I had a shy bladder as a teen but you adapt fast. So don't worry about it - when the dining hall had pizza for lunch the stalls filled up fast and you didn't worry who was in the next one.

Everyone needs a good poo, just go and get your business over with and nobody will even care.

The only time its ever been a problem was when my friend went into the stall next to me thinking I just had to pee when I actually had raging diarrhea. I couldn't even hold it in until he was gone.

I lived in a coed dorm for two years. Didn't stop me from dropping the motherload when the urge struck. Trust me, girls are plenty gross themselves.

Try to only go at 4am when most people are in bed. Take a can of air freshener and a loud radio to drown out the straining sounds.
