What does it mean when a girl walks away from you in a conversation and goes to her friend?

So I walked up to my crush the other day and we said hey and I asked her if she had a good break and she enthusiastically said yes. Right after that she turned around and saw her friend and walked over to her. As I was walking away I heard her friend laugh. But the thing is my crush always seems excited/happy to see me and always has this huge lasting smile and stares at me while we're talking. She was even smiling excitedly during that conversation but she just went to her friend.

It's possible she likes you, but you shouldn't make your judgment based on that. I think you may be over analysing the situation, try to gauge her level of interest based on her interaction with you or the signs she gives.
