Why do the majority of girls think they have to wear close fitted clothes to appear acceptable and attractive?

Self explanatory. Also, what's up with the bullshit expectation for women to always wear fitted clothing? It seems like it would just be uncomfortable to always be sucked in to close fitting fabric. Especially considering how not every woman is a size 0 and most women do have at least a little but of a discomfort towards their body and yet they're pretty much forced through indoctrination to constantly wear clothes that expose their curves and how small their waists are. It just seems like crap to me that they have to show off their figure to be accepted into society and seen as appealing to the men they're dressing for. It seems like way too much pressure. I've seen all three of my sisters at least once destroy their room looking for clothes that show off their body without making them feel uncomfortable on a day they feel bloated or particularly insecure and it's really sad that they're held under a microscope like that. Girls, what are your thoughts on how if you wear comfy clothes that aren't fit to your every curve people label you as a "dyke" or a "slob" ? (And for reference I'm not saying "dyke" out of ignorance I'm saying it because I have witnessed assholes throwing that word around when a girl wears baggy pants.) and for any guys who read this, do you care if they dress in fitted clothes all the time and if so why the hell do you insist they are obliged to do so when all we guys have to do is toss on a pair of jeans that don't suffocate our balls and throw on a t shirt without any regard to making sure it's always tight as a muscle T?

P. S. Girls doesn't the fitted tiny underwear and fitted jeans turn your vaginas into incubators? Cuz it seems it would. I knew a guy who had to wear skinny jeans after he lost a bet and the first thing that came out of his mouth was "I get chicks don't have junk, but they gotta be secretly picking their underwear out of their ass everytime they go to the bathroom. I feel like my lower half is being suffocated"

I just can't wrap my head around why women spend so much time and money on shrinking fabrics to stuff themselves into and parade around outside, tallying up how many strangers find them suitably fuckable. it seems like the most superficial, pointless, and objectifiable crap ever thought up. and worse yet is the mindless women who are perpetuating the expectation probably majority of men have, backtracking and trivializing the goal of being treated with respect and not like a sex toy.

Tl;dr your post. Just glanced over it. I can wear sweats with a sweater and sneakers, tie my hair up and still look good. It all depends on how you wear it, sizing, and body types. I don't know what you're ranting on about looking like a lesbian. I assure you, I look like a cute little Asian girl who's about to go for a jog or sit at home and play video games.

I prefer mens tshirts over womens tshirts, when it comes to tshirts, anyway. I don't enjoy the hugging style for tshirts, you're right about that---it's uncomfortable, for me. Everything else, however, is not uncomfortable at all. ESPECIALLY SMALL TIGHT PANTIES. THOSE ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHITS EVER. YOU ARE MISTAKENED ON THE PANTIES. Anyway, I'm a huge fan on oversized sweaters, and things like leggings or short shorts, those are all comfortable. I've studied a bit on fashion, too. A wardrobe of 100% all tight clothing is not generally fashionable, anyway. All girls' body types are different, but who cares. Some people have a sense of fashion, others don't. Tight clothes are probably uncomfortable for guys like you, but for me, at least, and most women, body-hugging clothing is comfortable because it fits us and moves with our body. (Not tshirts, though.)

Either way, the majority of us also don't give a shit about your guys' opinions on the way we dress, anyway. The only ones who would care for what you have to say about our dressing are the insecure ones.

That is how human beings are. We are biologically attracted to good looking things. Now, beauty is subjective and depends on the eye of the beholder, but we are generally attracted to appealing things. I do shop at goodwill for all my clothes and shoes and bags, just for your information. I enjoy looking pretty. This is not only women. Men enjoy looking handsome and attractive as well, and no, it does not make them homosexual in the least. Being well groomed and well fitted in clothing is just a nice way of showing that you have the decency to appear presentable in front of yourself and the pubic eye.

You won't go to a wedding in your boxers, now, would you? That would be rude. My personality also prizes in my confidence, but the thing is, a stranger won't immediately know my personality now, would they? They see my outside appearance first. And going back to the natural biology of humans, being attractive on the outside, by default, makes you more approachable and decent looking.

This might come as a shock to you, but women don't dress "for men".

For starters, that assertion completely ignores the existence of lesbians. Even if women did dress to impress someone, not all seek out the approval of men. Get over yourselves.
Women dress for themselves for the most part, we want to look the best we can just because.

And while some do indeed dress in some clothing that may not look comfortable to you, it doesn't mean they're uncomfortable. Certain "body wrapping" garments are actually mega comfy, because they give your body flexibility.

Also, I wear baggy clothes all the time and have never been called a "dyke" for it except for when I was around 14 maybe. Given the maturity level of boys that age, I honestly don't consider anything they said to be of any value or impacting on my life. I still wear whatever the fuck I like and some guy's opinion means very little to me, because I don't exist to please his eyes.

That being said, I don't dispute the fact that certain women feel they need to dress a certain way to be considered "acceptable females", but those tend to be brainless bimbos and I've personally only ever encountered a handful of that type.

I kinda think that there are two main reasons... girls feel like guys won't pay attention to them otherwise and then there's fashion in general. If you don't wear something at least halfway in the fashion realm, other girls look down on you.

I tend to dress for whatever I'm doing. I had a roommate who got totally stressed about dressing for the guy she was talking to, and that kind of showed me how ridiculous the whole "dress for a guy" thing is. I wear what makes me feel good and confident - what I like, what reflects my personality. If a guy doesn't like that, that's his problem, but I don't have to change who I am for him.

Actually, I said I wear what I want to wear. I pick what I do like from fashion, throw in my own quirky ideas, and that's what I wear.

On the other hand, though, there is a difference between dressing for guys and dressing for girls. Dressing for guys implies trying to be seen as someone who is, in some sense at least, sexually appealing. Dressing for girls is more of a social thing.

See, the fine line girls have to walk is this: Don't dress for a guy, don't dress in a way that turns people off socially, dress in a way that encourages people to respect you personally and professionally, and wear something you like.

My gut says that most girls don't do the last part - wearing something they like. And that's really the key, at least in my mind. You can dress in a way that is fashionable and all those other things, but at the end of the day, it's about whether I like it. If it's fashionable, comfortable, professional, etc., but I don't like it, I'm not going to wear it.

if you see it, every part of my body is big. The smallest part is my waist. That's really the only part I'm proud of and can show off.
