Guys, how would you react if you found our your crush likes you back?

I've had a crush on this guy for a couple months. When we were around each other he acted differently around me (distant/flustered) and he would stare a lot when he thought I wouldn't notice. I asked questions regarding this in the past on here and most said he likes me but is shy or something similar to that. I started losing interest at one point because I started seeing another side of his personality. A little while after that a mutual friend told me that he told him that he likes me which I wasn't sure if I should believe or not but the friend of ours doesn't seem like he would lie about that. I also started dating this other guy who asked me out basically right after we met and hit it off. This guy is making me realize that I still have feelings for my crush and I'm not into this guy I'm dating at all. I feel like if my crush knew I liked him things would be differently so next time I see our mutual friend I'm going to say that it's ok for him to tell my crush how I feel. Guys, if you liked a girl but didn't know how she felt about you and you later found out she feels the same way how would you react to that?

OK, first of all stop dating the guy you're dating right now. If you feel nothing for him it's not fair to continue dating him.

If I knew that a crush of mine liked me back I'd sure ask her out. However you said that he's shy and I guess that he probably won't do anything. Then I say that you should do something about it by talking to him about this situation. If he likes you back he'll probably like it I suppose.

Just get to him say how you feel about it. Say it nicely. I think that if he likes you too there won't be any problems.

Speaking from the guys point of view because I'm exactly like that guy and it's not that he doesn't want to talk to you he just may not know if you want to talk to him so just tell him I guarantee he will talk to you a lot more after

I'd react much in the same way as if I found out I was going Disneyland.

It'd be a dream come true... Until you got to know each other. Then you realise why a crush is a crush. Maybe I'm just a cynic.

So you're saying he won't like me after a while?

Well unless you got to know each other first there's no way of telling. That's the risk with a crush, you don't know them personally so it's like starting with a blank slate. He might be awful, perfect or anything in between.
That said, you'll never know unless you try.

Haha yeah we just went out on a date never official I barely know him. I'm afraid of hurting him though because I know he really is starting to like me. If a girl you were dating and liked told you what you told me to tell him in your comment how would you feel?

That depends on how much i liked her. If she told me it wasn't anything to do with me, then i at least wouldn't be offended
