I met this girl and from the start she seems to treat me differently to other people, she seems more reserved around me and not as exciting.
I've known her for a while now so it isn't some new aquaintance shyness thing, she's quite social around others but I can tell she's diferent around me

She might like you, and have a nervous feeling when she is around you all of a sudden. She might even think you like more serious girls better and is actong accordingly, those are just my guesses. (:

Then she most likely has a crush on you.. She could just be nervous and may not know how to act around you since she started liking you... Why don't you just try asking her what's going on? Tell her what you've noticed and ask her why that is

I'm in that same boat and I can't make heads or tails of it, except the girl wants to work on herself after a previous breakup, but that doesn't mean people can't catch feelings.
