Why does she treat me differently than others?

Ok, so there's this girl who is somewhat on the quiet side until she gets to know people. I have noticed that with me she still acts nervous. She has a playful personality, most of the time she will be a bit of a smartass to other guys and sometimes she will hit them in the shoulder after they make a joke. She never touches me but her mouth never stops. She teases me, makes fun of me, is sarcastic and we argue all the time and I admit its fun, but she never gets into arguments with others like she does with me, but she will never hit me like she hits others. Should I assume the lack of contact means lack of interest? What with the big mouth? She seems comfortable with others but with the way she opens her mouth when she talks to me, she is either more comfortable with me or just hates me.

okay I think I'm prettymuch just like this girl I always have been she doent hit you because she's scared to because she doesn't want you to think she's too rough but not too girlie either which is why she's more comfortable around you which is why shell tease you

So you are saying that hitting is more for friends than teasing me every chance she gets and making fun of me? Its just that she "seems" more comfortable around everybody else, but at the same time she is nicer to them. With me she just seems nervous but her mouth is a lot bigger and we already know all our in and outs and how we react to certain things and seems like instead of hitting each other physically, we use our words hahaha.

yes... hahaha pretty much but it really does depend on you, how you compare to the other guys personality wise in her eyes, and her comfort zone. the next time she hits you try catching her hand and holding it for a couple seconds...see what happens

Thats the thing though, she has never hit me. She will playfully hit other guys but not me but she is restrained in the way she talks to them but with me she will let loose of that tongue and tell me everything she says to me its the truth. She seems waaaaaay to comfortable to talk to me like that but at the same time she acts nervous and never touches me, so I don't know what's going on in her mind

She probably likes you. Acting nervous around you and otherwise treating you differently are often signs of interest.

Isnt hitting playfully a bigger sign of comfort? I know it may not always be true but still. When she talks to other guys she acts more like a bratty little sister but with me she gets mad and talks back and things like that
