Why do girls cut their hair short? Please give me some answer?

So I've noticed that some girls recently have started cutting their hair a lot shorter and especially pixie hair and short hair in general is popular. But I don't seriously get it.. NEVER EVER have I seen a girl that started looking better after cutting their hair short. NEVER!

Honestly everytime a female friend of mine cuts their hair short  I want to cry, every girl instantly drops 2 points on the attractiveness scale when they cut their hair short. I can't find a girl with hair that is shorter than shoulder length attractive.. I don't know why but it just looks so stupid and unfeminine. And don't even get me startted on the pixie cuts and boy like hair, the girls that do that aren't even women in my eyes anymore.

So my question is, why do girls cut their hari short? Because NO ONE looks better after they cut their hair!

*Even though this is only my opinion I also know that a lot of males around the world agree with me on this one, girls with long hair just look so much better!

I cut my hair short about a month or so ago because my hair was unhealthy and breaking, so I wanted to grow new and healthy hair. Most people were positive about my short hair, and some others were like 'Why?' lol. But I like it! Apart from the fact that I'll be growing healthy hair, short hair is more practical. It take less time dry after I wash it, less time to do in the mornings before I go out. It's much less expensive, as before I would spend like £70 to braid my hair with extensions every two or three months. I used to have a really bad dandruff problem, which I haven't seen since I cut my hair. It's also freeing! I've been told that the style suits me and my face is still feminine, which I agree to :)

It all depends on 1) their preference. Everybody is different. Every girl wasn't made to do the same things and look the same or even similar. 2) It's easier to care for. #0 It's easier and less time consuming to style. 4) It may look good to them. 5) Maybe they're lesbian or bisexual or even transgender and want to go for the boyish look. So maybe it's not supposed to be appealing and good looking to guys, but maybe other girls. 6) Maybe they want a big change in their life. There are many more reasons that could work for this question. Everybody is different and prefers different things, and styles. There is no clone of anybody on Earth. Everybody is unique in their own way.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean no one else does. And believe it or not girls aren't here on this earth to please you or any other person but themselves. Girls cut their hair if they want to and some looking pretty fucking hot when they do. I cut all my hair off for cancer. Sorry to say but the world doesn't revolve around you.

When I was still living at home 12 years ago I had to "witness" my sister drying her long hair for 40 minutes every other day while I had to wait my turn to use the bathroom. If I had to dry my hair longer than 2 minutes I would go crazy. Yes, I love long hair on women but I also understand how much a hassle it must be to care for that hair. I actually respect them for that.
Many women cut their hair short after giving birth because it's more practical, especially when babies start grabbing things and mommy's nice long hair is the closest they can (and will) grab.

Girls cut there hair because not everyone looks good with long hair. Or because they like it. You have shoe hair but it's probably short because you think you look bad with Like hair and don't like it.
Now let's apply that logic to women and as simple as that you've got an answer.
Also this isn't really failing. Obviously eve person in the world doesn't share this opinion with you so they're really not failing. No one can have very guy attracted I them so just racist you're not attracted I them isn't really much more skin off their back. So they'll continue to cut their hair and feel awesome

Only some girls can really pull off the short hair look. I am one who cannot. I have long hair now, but I used to cut it short. I love having long hair, but with my job you have to have it tied back tightly and in a bun. Sometimes it was just a pain to do it everyday. So I had my hair cut short for a few years. However, I ended up going off of work for surgery and I was off for a few months. My hair started to grow out, and I realized I loved it when it was longer. I didn't want to cut it again, so I left it and let it grow out. I am not that attractive. That's not low self-esteem talking, I just know I'm not a beauty. I am average. I noticed that once my hair grew out that I did get more attractive. So I will never wear it short again.

Very few women can actually pull off the short hair look. However, if someone is happy with their hair short, they should be allowed to do what they want.

I assume they like the look and feel of it better, it's easier to care for, etc. I think it can definitely look cute, and still feminine. I'm sure it also helps if you want to get rid of damaged hair and have it grow out healthier. Also, I've known some women who wanted to donate 10 inches to Locks of Love and organizations like that, which I've considered too.

Some like the style and/or find it more practical.
I prefer short or medium length for their practicality. There is nothing wrong with long hair. It looks great. My last girlfriend had nice, soft, long black hair, but it gets in the way and get everywhere. There are feminine cuts at nearly every lenght except maybe buzzcut, shaved, or bald.

At the end of the day its their hair and their freedom.

Women cut their hair for many reasons like they want to be more edgy or are bored of the kind of haircut they have. It's also a hell of a lot easier to maintain. Just because you don't find it attractive doesn't mean other men dont. I think many men out there will find it sexy. Of course, I don't have long beautiful locks, but I cut my hair because of maintenance and it's what makes me unique and different from other girls. I hope this helps.

Maybe because it's easier? A lot of girls cut of their hair after having children because they don't have the time to maintain it anymore. And it does take a lot of maintenance and maybe they just don't want to do that anymore for some outdated idea of femininity

I really prefer my hair short. It's easier to take care of and uses way less time and product. When I let it get long it gets heavy ad pulls out all the curl so it's just a straight knotted mess that gives me headaches. When it's short, it's bouncy and curly and super cute.

Professional hair cutters convince girls that short hair is sexier so that they keep going to them to buy more hair cuts. Okay, so what? I understand not many men like short hair on women, but my personal view is I find women with BOY CUT hair, short hair very appealing, yes I find only short hair, BOY CUT hair on women appealing , however I don't get to see such women often, but then I am an exception in this thinking, I absolutely dislike long hair on women, that's only my view. Well since ur a boy u don't understand how hard it is to manage longgg hair. My hair is very long, even if I get a trim it will still be long, so sometimes I consider a hair cut, deff not a pixie cut but maybe shoulder length. So ya not just because long hair is hard to manage but also because sometimes it gets boring. Ik u won't cuz ur a boy but u try having ur hair 18 inches long

I'm sure girls don't really give a crap what you think. Regardless if you don't like girls with short hair, girls aren't gonna stop. There's a million other males out there who do like shorter hair, so your little opinion means nothing, really.
Long hair can get to be a real piss off, especially if you have insanely thick hair like me, I get headaches when my hair is too long.. and my head gets super hot because my hair is so heavy. I keep it well past my shoulders.

Normaly girl with long hair, have to do a lot of things to it to make it pretty.

Mine has never been above shoulder length and I would never want to cut it any shorter than that, but I cut mine from mid-/lower back to shoulder length a few years back because it was too much to take care of and I was tired of it. Since then I have started to let it grow back and it is just below my shoulder blades in the back now.

Some people get headaches if they wear their hair too long. Some hair types can be extremely hard to manage when kept long. I cut my hair short and regret it because it was fun having long hair and I didn't appreciate it
