Ladies... have games ever backfired with a guy you liked?

When a girl stops calling you, I know that usually means that they've moved on and dumped you.

What does it mean when they take weeks to return your call? Why are they even calling back after taking that long? Are they feeling bad for you or playing games to see if you will chase them?

How would you ladies feel if you're playing this game on a guy and you call back after weeks and he ignores you now and moves on?

Help me out.

Well case sera, sera.. chance are yes I want you to purse a little bit, but I also weight my options and u never calling was one of them, and I've made peace with it some where along the line cause u never really shown me the attention or affection I wanted from you in the first place that leads to the phone tag, you never shown you liked me enough anyway so yes and no..

Although it's a hard decision to make, especially if I really liked a guy, it's the only way anything more could happen, and most women are willing to take the chance of the delayed phone call. Either 1 or 2 things can happen. . U miss me and call me and pursue me and love me... or you don't which have already confirmed my suspicion u weren't really into me at all, then when we both reach a point of no contact, it's pretty much mutual at that point. But I'll be sad for a while.

Why manipulate rather than being honest?

Who's to say it's manipulative. . what happens if she given up on the idea of being with you, she calls because feelings are not that easy to shake. So she checks on you maybe to hear ur voice or see how's it going.. why manipulate? Like why that choice of words you choose?
Just because a women isn't responding to you like she use to doesn't mean she's playing a game, you ever thought she's struggling with her feelings too?

I hear you and I have though about her feelings, but sometimes when you behave in this way even if unintentional, it is manipulative. By calling and then going away, you're trying to force the person to miss you or do something that you want them to do. You sound like a girl who if this stuff happened it is not with bad intent. I know this girl and she gets a kick out of seeing people beg for her. she knows exactly what she is doing, the last we spoke we had a good conversation as if everything was normal again. I tried to call back a week later... said she was busy. It happens... no problem.. she calls me back like a month later. I did not answer... no time for that... i can take a hint. but her voice message was basically begging me to call her back to play the cycle again. gotta know when a woman is sincere and when some will try to play with you.

Well maybe she's full of games, I don't know, but I know it's always two sides to a story, and sometimes the way we perceive a situation might not be how it actually is.
I think we get a lot if that misconception through past experience, or maybe how we are as a person. .. but if her heart says one thing but her mind knows the truth, she could be struggling with completely letting go... I don't know. The whole I'm not calling home thing, at times you are right we like to know a guy likes us back. But most time we feel like we're putting in most the effort, and we're becoming to needy, and in most cases the guy don't feel as strong as we do, but we never really get that until we take a step back ya know.

You make very valid points, i get it. She just did things that made me lose value and there's nothing that I can do about it. Some people can forgive and forget... I can forgive but if the foundation is already ruined, I'm not going to act as if it is not. I wish things were different, but I have to respect the woman that I am with. I respect her as far as the friendship we had built, but I've been involved with her and she said and did some very whorish things... so from a serious relationship standpoint... it will never be. That's why when she pulls the disappearing act, I don't chase because at the same time I know I don't want her in that way, but I also don't want to hold anyone back or lead them on and keep them from someone who is meant for them and has a clean slate. I would bet that she is probably in a serious relationship right now, but still would take time to call me, just to try to play me. Guess you never really know what your boundaries are until they are crossed.

Just forget about her she is never worth your time, especially if u are not into whores.. lol. don't ever waste your time on a worthless women who's beneath you.

I agree with you. The questions come from confusion. When you go to the strip club or a bachelor party, you know what it's about. I thought that I was meeting a good girl and it turned out to be false. I actually get embarrassed to think that I couldn't spot something earlier, but when you meet someone and like them, it's hard to accept that what you thought you were getting was not real.
