Let's face it MOST women would not go on a date with a guy that they think is ugly regardless how wonderful there personality is. Like this guy for example. Most women would not go out with him regardless how wonderful his personality is. Nothing is wrong with women not wanting to go on a date with a guy they think is ugly. It is just the bull reason they say''If an ugly guy gets rejected it is because of his personality.''Everybody knows that is bull.

Isn't it funny how women always say that the reason ugly guys get rejected is because of their personality?
Uhm that guy has disgusting teeth and no guy would date a girl who has ugly teeth like that either. Sorry but it goes both way... Secondly we live in a society where you can get things fixed. I wore braces for pretty much most my elementary school life to get good teeth. Everyone does things to improve themselves all the time whether male or female. That is the effect of a looks driven society sadly. If you really do make a effort to look the best version of you then I don't see how no girl will ever find you attractive. Often people get rejected for simply not being compatible with another and that can be because of looks, personality or just overall lack of chemistry. It happens to most and is a sucky part of life but we get through it.
Well i know if you don't other girls probably don't either i actually just got rejected two weeks ago when the girl said she had a boyfriend. It was just a nice way if saying i don't wanna date you
Don't say that... I have been rejected too before and know what it feels like to be turned down. Somewhere there will be someone though who will see that something special in you.
Some men admit it. Some women admit it. There's no superior gender when it comes to these things. I mean on this very question plenty of women admitted to still finding looks important. In situations where some don't want to admit it its usually cause they don't want to make people feel bad or they don't want to get judged for having preferences.
Thing is most guys will ask out someone they think is attractive and they already have like built in feelings for the girl they pick. The girl doesn't know you, so she has to judge you on looks. If that's all she has to go on then she'll probably reject you more often because she has no emotional connection to and she would have to really enjoy the guys face in order to say yes without knowing him personally

Most people will reject ugly people. When's the last time you approached an overweight ugly girl?
The point is most guys will say "I'm too ugly for girls" when they aren't as ugly as they think. It has A LOT to do with their confidence like it or not. I know PLENTYYYY of gawky/overweight/slightly below average looking guys who are genuinely fun to be around because of heir outgoing and funny personality. I've dated big guys, skinny guys, average built guys and gawky nerdy looking guys all because they had fun personalities. Being ugly on top of being awkward or weird will not get you the ladies because your shitty personality is the nail in the coffin.
And not just that regardless if the average or attractive women knew him for a long time the HUGE majority of them will still reject him, they get rejected less than the ugly guys that don't have good personalities but they still get rejected most of the time anyways. Many women make it seem that ugly guys with wonderful personalities don't get rejected at all or barely. What a joke right? lol
I agree that ugly people will get rejected. But at a certain point a great personality will make up for a slightly below or average face. A good personality can only do so much.
So what is your point exactly? Women should lower their standards so ugly people don't feel so left out? Give me a break, no one is obligated to give you even a second glance.
With guts. Going up to a stranger and nervously making small talk is not attractive. I'm talking about having a GOOD PERSONALITY. And why doesn't he just go for other ugly girls then? Because everyone want s someone attractive and no one wants to settle for someone ugly. It's human nature to want to be physically attraacted to someone. If you're ugly you better get a dapper charismatic personality
I am talking about ugly guys with good personality has to deal with tons of rejections before a girl accepts them. I am talking about women that they know. I didn't literally mean 200 women but you get the point. The ugly guys with great personalities that can deal with a lot of rejection have guts

If I found a guy ugly, I wouldn't date him... Because he wouldn't be attractive to me. What is the point in dating someone you don't find attractive? Maybe the reason some girls put it down to personality is because they do not want to appear shallow. I personally don't think it is shallow to not want to date someone if you don't find them attractive. It is just the way it works isn't it? O_o
@medical2523 Don't be so down on yourself, bro! Besides, the word "Attractive" is totally subjective! One personal example; the guy I'm into right now is not, according to most people, physically attractive... But I find him incredibly attractive. Clearly there is not a set formula here.
I said nothing is wrong with rejecting someone because you think they are ugly. The thing is many women are chicken to admit and many of them say that if an ugly guy gets rejected it is because of their personality, most people know most women would not go on a date with an ugly guy regardless how wonderful their personality is
It is hard to say, because if she is not given a chance to get to know you, how can she even judge your personality? So, in that sense, you are correct. However, if I were friends with a man first and I fell in love with his personality, that changes everything. However, there are still limits. Bad hygiene is highly unattractive and inexcusable, for example and that obviously changes the way a person looks.

Well, I think you are wrong. I think once getting to know a man, so long as he does indeed have a good personality (which is also subjective) then a lot of women would give him a chance. I see plenty of unattractive looking men in relationships.
If many average and attractive women give ugly guys with a great personality a chance then why the huge majority of time are ugly guys with ugly women?
