Have you noticed how many people always tell ugly people it is not their looks why they are getting rejected when that is actually the reason?

regardless how wonderful his personality is. Nothing is wrong with that, I am just tired of people making it seem most people would go out with an ugly person with a wonderful personality when in most cases that is not true.

It's actually true. i mean I'm pretty fucking ugly (btw that's the reason why i don't have a picture of myself as an avatar here) and i have never been rejected. that's because i never even bother of asking someone out, because I'm sure they'll reject me. sure, girls say that personality is most important. but they also say that they wouldn't date someone they're not physically attracted to. and that proves that looks are, in fact, more important than personality. and ugly people being rejected because of their personality is not true, because most of the time, if not always, they don't even get a chance to show their personality and their faces have already ruined it.

I think it is probably to avoid hurting their feelings. I'd be the same with a girl. I've had experience with this though where people are like "Sorry you're not my type" or "I like somebody else, sorry" or just general excuses that do avoid talking about looks. Those don't mind me too much though, what annoys me is when a girl says they like you as well but then lead you on because they really don't..
