Why are ugly people so rude to attractive people?

I'm legit ugly, but I'm not jealous of those who won the genetic lottery. Hell one of my best friends is pretty good looking, and never once been jealous or mean to her. That would be a pretty shitty and scummy thing to do on my part.

I guess some people are so damn miserable they take it out on others to make them feel better.

maybe it's because a group that has known hostility for most of their lives and to eject that hostility at has been piled onto them elsewhere?

to be fair, it's neither party's fault as much as it is the outsiders/bystanders who have continually heaped praised on the attractive and shitted on the unattractive, factors of which are outside of their control and not of their choosing

Of course, that's true. I just don't think that's the reason.
I think it's jealousy and an underlying hatred leading them to think the attractive person somehow deserves it, because they haven't had a hard life.

But in the end, people are people. The assumption that being good looking means you automatically have more value as a human being and a better life is complete horseshit

I hate when people assume that all good looking people have great personalities and that ugly people are bitter, evil, stupid villains and that they must necessarily be jealous of attractive people. Why does society have to be that shallow?
