Is coming off as ditzy good, bad, or neutral?

Im in medical school so im not dumb but I've been told (by a guy) that I come off as ditzy. Is this good, bad, or neutral?

As long as you don't purposely come off ditzy at all times, like in class or at work, I don't see any wrong with it. However, if you're overly ditzy in your social circles, including around guys you could be potentially interested in, keep in mind that what goes around comes around.

Not saying that this applies to you specifically, but I have a lot of friends who act all ditzy, like bimbos, thinking it's cute and will get guys' attention. Regardless of how, to a guy (as I've discussed this with a few of them), if you try to reel them in with antics such as that, expect to be treated in the same manner. You get their attention acting ditzy, they won't take you 100% seriously either. Tit for tat, act like a child, be treated like one.
(ok, end of going off on a bit of a tangent. :P )

It depends. Some people find it cute while others find it annoying or fake. I am a ditzy or... flighty person in school. I say some really dumb shit and it's not because I'm trying to be fake, but I just really don't think before i speak sometimes. Everyone I'm friends with know that I'm smart, but that sometimes, it's just a part of my personality to say dumb stuff on accident. It's just who I am. I'm not trying to play a role or act dumb for some guy. I'm just a little flighty sometimes. Even my teachers know that lol. Some people might find me fake, but that's because they don't really know what I'm like as a person. They are on the outside looking in.

It depends on the situation in my opinion. Like... it doesn't matter if your classmates think you're ditzy since it might make it easier to be friends with them. But your professors have to see a professional in your work and class participation because they could be writing recommendations for you in the future.

Oh I totally agree. I don't think I come off as ditzy to my professors, I always try to be very professional. I worked very closely with a professor last year and he still says hi to me and asks how classes are going and such so I think I am good haha

I've come off as dumb before, ditzy but I'm not stupid. I've been told by some guys that they think I've been playing dumb and that it isn't becoming of someone who is smarter than that. I'd say being smart and being ditzy give that impression because I don't "play dumb".

Ditzy is Ok, comes off as lighthearted and jovial.

As long as you have decent social intelligence you'll be fine. :)

I don't think it would be good to be considered ditzy but for some reason girls act that way to entertain guys. Why guys like it, I have no idea. Maybe they think the girl will be easier to bed.
