well... forgetting the high chance of contacting STDs that don't even have names yet, or the desperation factor, i think its also the fact that some of these hookers are open to doing things that regular women might not want to do or might not be able to do.

Well for me it makes the guy look sad and pathetic. It also shows me that they look at woman's bodies as something they should be entitled to purchase if they so desire and pretty much stop seeing them as a human beings but my biggest issue is that a lot of those woman did not choose that lifestyle and you are exploiting them. Ever hear of human trafficking? or abused girls who have no where to turn to and no other options so they run away. in my opinion being a John should be against the law, not being a Prostitute. Arresting Prostitutes just causes Pimps & traffickers to go and find more because there is still a demand for them but if you start punishing those trying it you are attacking the demand which is the only way to really change anything in my opinion.

If you want to stop something you have to look at why it's an issue in the first place. In order to stop the sale of something you have to go after demand, supply will just be replaced. Many countries have took note of this and have made legislation to this effect.
