Why do some guys put their girlfriends down? Because they are f***ing douche bags.

Any douche bag guy can be mean to a girl. But, it takes a very special kind of douche bag could muster up enough cowardice and disrespect to treat their girlfriend like that.

Chances are this asshole was damaged goods to begin with, but I don't think it's your fault. Most of the time, people see people for who they want them to be, not who they are. You need to find a guy who will treat you will respect.

If you're gonna find somebody to love, make sure its somebody that deserves it

Usually this behavior is passed from father to son. A kid is really impressionable, and if a husband puts down his wife in front of his kids, sons will do it to their girlfriends, and daughters will have a skewed view of love and marriage.

Its because these type of guys are just cowardly hoe bag bastards. I think in many cases, guys will act like jerks to feel tough and rough. But what's the point of being around a guy who doesn't respect you? Logically, if he's acting like a f***ed up mofo stud now, he'll act like this in the future. The best thing to do is to book it. Just walk out. No one needs to deal with a guy who has no respect for women. Why put of up with crap?
