Texting versus Talking. This girl texts me a lot but doesn't say much to me in person. Why is this?

She texts me quite a bit. I prefer talking to her in person but she doesn't have much to say and we barely do stuff together cause she's busy a lot. She'll text me almost everyday even when I was out of the country and I had my phone off I came back and there was a message everyday I was gone and 2 on the same day. I think it's weird and I really don't like all this new digital stuff cause I'm just old fashioned like that when it come to dating. Is this girl just nervous or something and does she like me?

Yep, I would say she really likes you and is obviously shy.

This new digital stuff allows her to be more confident and chatty than she actually is...its not a bad thing, the very fact that she likes you is probably the cause of her not knowing what to say in person.

When you see her, try your best to keep talking to her and letting her know that you like her (if you do of course) and she will gradually open up.

But I bet my last dollar/pound that she does like you :oD

She's definitely thinking about you or she wouldn't text you (daily). She may be shy and doesn't know what to say. I would ask her on a formal date. Isn't it true that men don't maintain contact if they don't have some sort of liking toward a girl?

she's shy! I'm exactly the same when it comes to talking to people in person. with a text message you have time to think about what you want to say before you send it, in person you can feel put on the spot and don't know how to respond.
