Girls, why did this girl call me a pervert for just asking a question?

I asked this girl I know (in person) a question and she called me a pervert and said to stop looking up girls skirts and dresses and then stormed off. All I said was "Sorry for the random question but I am just been curious why do girls wear spandex shorts underneath their skirts and dresses?"

She has also told other girls now that I am a pervert that looks up girls and dresses and when they see me they call me a pervert :(

Wow, okay. She was just expressing her views, but she is also very immature. There was no reason for her to spread that rumor. How does she even know you do that? Its just a question. Overall I think its weird that you asked a random girl that question. That is something you should as your mother about. But if you don't, then forgive me. Your better safer asking a question here, than on the street. Anyway, for that question, spandex shorts is either for two/three reasons, as I do it for myself:

1. Because most skirts do not have shorts designed with them like they do for most little girls/girls outfits.
2. We wear shorts to avoid sexual harassment and because of what she excused you of doing. Some actual perverts likes to look at a girls underwear. And since skirts these days don't have that covering, the shorts is there for modesty reasons. That way, perverts are peeved because even if the skirt get's up skirted , they can't get what they want: to see the girls panties!
3. Shorts give stability to hold up a skirt. Its easier to change in and out from. Also god forbid if somebody tries to sexual assault her, she has more clothes underneath and it will give her more time to escape from harm if possible.

The real question is how do you know girls wear spandex shorts under their skirts and dresses, you could only see them if you looked up their skirt or dress.

The spandex shorts aren't meant to seen and are much shorter than the skirt or dress so it's impossible to see them without looking up their skirt or dress.
