I hate my brown eyes, colour of crap?

People always tell me that my eyes are ugly because they are brown. I feel so depressed about this, why do some girls have beautiful blue and green eyes why I have only some shitty brown! I would give anything just to make them blue. Blue eyed guys don't even notice me, I have dated only brown eyed guys who have the eyes as ugly as mine. Yesterday this blue eyed guy I like told me he doesn't view me as his girlfriend. He didn't speak of my brown eyes, but I know that's the real reason. I started considering suicide after this...

Your dislike of yourself is part of the issue as it would come out in social settings if you don't like yourself. we all have things about ourselves we don't like. you have to learn to accept yourself as you are. maybe your eyes aren't your best feature, but something else is. no one is perfect.

learn to love yourself and your eyes will shine differently and people will be attracted to that. if someone doesn't like you because of your eye color, and that is possible, that is their issue not yours.

Brown eyes can be very beautiful, a step daughter of mine had brown eyes and they were stunning.
Someone I know, a famous singer, said they were like toffees on hot shovels, like liquid gold.
My mother had brown eyes and she was beautiful, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I doubt very much that the colour of your eyes has that much to do with attraction to you by another person, there is a lot more to anybody as a person than the colour of your eyes anyway.

I think brown eyes have a warmth in them. I am more comfortable with looking in eyes of a brown eyed person than that of light eyed. But then it could be because there are few light eyed people here.
But there's no doubt that brown eyes can be as beautiful as lighter eyes.

I perfectly understand that girl, I have similar thoughts as well. Lenses won't work for me because:
1) They look unnatural.
2) I want my children to have blue eyes as well.

I will add this as well.

My son has fairly severe autism. Part of that is that he's bad with eye contact. So we occasionally with family ask him what color people's eyes are to get him to practice looking st their eyes.

Anyway his whole immediate family has blue eyes, but my dad has brown. So when we first did this with my parents he said that grandma had blue eyes. And grandpa has 'chocolate eyes'. He still always says that. Grandpa has chocolate eyes.

So there you go. You have chocolate eyes.
