Why do girls always cry during proposals?

Why do girls always cry? Like literally... at everything? I mostly see them cry a lot during proposals. I've never once seen a girl who didn't cry during a proposal. Either they were getting proposed or they saw someone getting proposed. They would cry their eyes out so much that the tears could fill up a cup. Why is this? I'm a girl and I never cried when I saw someone getting proposed. I'm single so I haven't been proposed to but honestly I wouldn't cry if I was. Is that abnormal for me?

LOL! It's because they're "so happy". But for me, it will be because I have literately gone through hell and deep down, I'd be surprised if I got to have a happily ever after so I'd just remember all of the pain and struggle I went though to reach that moment.

For me it's emotional lovey stuff just like a marriage.

Either they cry from the horror of the prospect of marrying that person, or the joy of finally being proposed to. Tears are just a way of the body expressing strong emotions.
If you are not very emotional about something you won't cry.
