yes boxers are more comfortable only when adjusted properly to over pants (things can hang), otherwise all that gets crumpled up into "knots" = very uncomfortable, ergo why briefs have not adjustment/alignment problems when slipping on pants, some prefer everything held in place like a bra, others claim tight fitting pants squeeze pain their balls if large/huge, whereas the penis doesn't feel such distress, no matter its size
