It depends. Sometimes if they look mean they might be tired from a long day. If they say i ma fine they could be just focus on something and they are busy. If one is walking and some says can i help you and they say no i am fine they are basically telling them no i am good or i got this. But if they are pissed off and say i am fine, unless you are the reason they are mad (in that case just say I am sorry) watch out they are planning to vent. If they are sad and you can see it, if they say "I'm fine" just comfort them. They will eventually talk tou about it. They just need a shoulder to cry on. Make sure you look ar the facial expressions. Our faces say a lot. For a woman i am fine means a lot. As a man look at the facial expressions.

Depends on the situation just like it depends on the girl. Her personality, character, and habits will speak a lot about her moods than it does to assume. There are times when I say that I'm fine, I mean it. Even if I wasn't, it doesn't always have anything to do with that person. I have a lot on my mind, so I can be upset about anything. But the best way to figure that out is being more direct with her in a respectful manner. Other than that, it really all depends on her. A lot of us lie about being fine. But think about it like it is for you men. When we ask about how you feel, you normally don't like to talk about it, right? So it's the same with us. As long as she is not playing emotional games with you, just take it with a grain of salt. Only approach when seek to be approached.

It depends on who's asking.

If it's someone who I'm close to, and I trust them , then if I say "I'm fine" I mean" I'm fine". If I wasn't, I'd tell them what's on my mind, and that I'm not ok

If it's someone I'm not close to then I'd say" I'm fine "even if I'm not ok, coz I don't confide in people if I'm not close to them

Fine means, you'll deal with whatever it is that's pissing you off, it has undertones of 'why can't he tell what's bugging me and say the right thing to fix it' but whatever 'fine' I'll sort it myself.

Sometimes I am fine and usually I am. I try not to let stuff bother me. There are other times I don't want to talk about things because it will just piss me off so I say I'm fine so the person will stop asking me questions and just leave me alone.
