Depends. Women think more with emotion than we men do. We tend to look for a rational outcome and compromises while they are looking for, what feels like the best for them. They decide what their tummy says, their heart, not their brain. The brain and heart work different in social aspects. Honestly I'm the opposite, when i say I'm fine for me that means leave the fuck alone so i can think and or calm down. Or i truly just don't want to talk about it or i am truly fine.

It could literally mean that she’s fine and in homeostasis. You’d have to ask further questions like how her day went or actually call her and gauge the context.
