Will my ex ever regret leaving me?

My ex broke up w me 3 months ago saying he needed time off... we were together for 2 and half years... we stayed in touch, and I waited hoping he would eventually tell me he wanted to get back together... well I recently found out he has a girlfriend... it's a girl from his past who he had a fling with years ago.. I heard they are officially together and that they are in love... its even on his fb..she tells hims how happy she is to be with him and that she loves him... and apparently he does too... I feel so hurt and betrayed.. will he ever regret this?

I asked for an explanation but he told me not to contact him anymore..which I was planning on doing anyways..but it hurts he shows no feelings and that he doesn't care..

He sounds really happy... I don't think he will regret leaving you. But I am pretty sure he will feel bad about it. He knows what he did was messed up. But it doesn't mean he regrets it.

I know the pain you are going thru. I've been there before. You don't need an explanation from him, because no matter what he says, you won't understand.

Block his number from your phone, or delete it. Delete him from FB so you don't check on him anymore. Try to erase him from your life. Hate him if you have to.

Dont waste your time thinking about him or crying about him, because you know for sure he isn't in his room thinking about you. If you can try to be around ppl. Around friends, or a friend. Someone who can distract you from him. It helps.

It will get better. Someday you will thank her for taking him away from you. Because you will find someone waaaaay better, someone who actually wants to be with you.

Thank you, I have deleted him off fb and his number I don't want any contact with him it hurts to much to even talk to him.. you are right about him not even thinking about me since he is with her now.. I really hope he regrets it but like you said, maybe he wont.. I just feel dumb for thinking we were gna get back together and he knew we weren't.. I want to hate him, it will be easier to get over him that way.

I've been dumped like this before and I can say that it's pretty much guaranteed that this is what he wanted when he broke up with you for whatever reason. It's good that you are moving on and I hope you find someone that will appreciate your worth. The only way that he will have regret is if things don't work out between them, but he will only regret it if something gos wrong. This is the reason you shouldn't be "friends" after a break up. The next time someone says that they want a "break" from you just walk away and move on. Keeping in touch or trying to be friends is an insult not an honor, and it helps the dumper to be "helped to shore". I'm sorry this happened to you but think about this, many men go through this all the time...

Yea I regret staying friends with him.. I wasted all of that time hoping he would change his mind..but I think I've learned my lesson this time..thanks for your advice. now I'm wondering how long they've been together and if he was with her when he was with me

Don't regret anything that you felt or that you have done that you wanted to do. That will make you hold on to the past and push away others that want to make you happy someday. Don't put him on your mind any longer, just move forward and don't look back.
