Do girls like being asked out even if they reject the guy?

When a guy asks a girl out and she rejects him does it give her an ego boost and make her feel better about herself? Do they ever actually feel sorry for the guy or do they just pretend that they are?

It's only happened to me a few times, and I've ALWAYS felt really bad about it. I just didn't like them like they liked me or they just weren't my "type" which sounds dumb, but its true. If it gives girls an ego boost then that's just bitchy and they need to find something better to do.

It depends on the girls personalality, I think that it would give most girls an ego boost because they know that someone is attracted to them but I would also feel sorry for the guy I rejected because some people just don't like hurting other people and I'm one of those people

well if a guy asked me out, and I said no, yes I would feel more better about myself. But yeah I would also feel really bad, cause I know how it feels to get rejected, but I wouldn't say yes to going out just cause I feel bad, cause that is worse cause then they think you like them. I think most girls well me and my friends think like that.

From my personal experience, yes it does give me an ego boost, and yes, I always feel bad about rejecting a guy (but I'm also not gonna lead him on if I don't really like him). I have never just pretended to feel bad, because I really do feel sorry, because I know that rejection is difficult, and no one likes it.

Yes, it does give me an ego boost whenever a guy asks me out and yes, I do feel terribly sorry whenever I reject a guy. I'm always busy and sometimes, guys think I'm actually not busy and I'm only saying that because I'm not interested.

If a guy asked me out it would make me feel good about myself. It means like, that I'm not an annoying freak to every guy lol. But yah I would feel sorry for the guy if I said no, I know being rejected doesn't feel too good. :)
