I gave a new female freind a gift I made her for her birthday and the week after when I saw her she was actually wearing it.
My friends keep teasing me that She likes me cause she wore the gift that I gave her. They were quite insistent about it. What do you think?

I'm not all girls or like most girls. So I can't speak for everyone. I'm extremely sentimental, and the only necklaces I really wear a lot is one from my grandmother, and one my dad brought me back from a deployment. All other necklaces are worn only for like prom or every like several years. If a guy I didn't really care for in that way gave me a necklace, it would go in the pile of all the other necklaces I hardly wear. If I did like him, I'd wear it allllllllll the time.

Being sentimental is a nice quality in a woman. I expected it to just go on the pile. However she actually wore it. I guess I will have to wait and see if she wears it more.

So far cute things that she thinks I will like based on what games I told her I like. She tagged me in a pokemon image after we talked about the old pokemon games.
I have tagged her in some cute girly videos that I shared for her. She occasionally comments on some of my posts. She usually just comments instead of liking them.

Basically love languages are how you feel loved.
Some people (me for instance) respond a lot better to being told kind words while other people feel more loved when someone does something for them (Cooks or does dishes type thing), spends quality time with them, gets them a gift, or touches (A hug, rubbing their hair or shoulder)

I wore jewelry when a guy I liked gave it to me I didn't like it so much to wear it everyday but I really liked him so I would wear it even if I knew I wasn't going to see him we weren't in a relationship at the time his choice not mine but it would remind me of him and make me happy.

So the fact that it was a week later and if she wears it all the time or a lot without knowing if she is going to see you I'm going to assume she likes you more than a friend.

We chat on social media, she tags me in things, she is really shy and she is somewhat open and talks with me. I give her goodbye hugs.
It is all very little to go on but that does not stop my freinds from trying to play match maker.

When I hint or flirt she says things like aw thank you. Last time she gave me a blushing dear sticker that said your to kind. Sometimes she seems to compliment me on my behavior but I'm honestly not sure if she is just being nice or if she likes them.

I think she is to shy to hug or the touch barrier is still up. Though I have hugged her. She posted the next day about it on social media and thanked me for it.

Wow I'm like that. I gave a birthday present to a guy friend and he hugged me. I wasn't expecting that and it took me a while to hug back. I was stiff at first but later after hugging more than once i got comfortable.

I hug if we're both standing up... sometimes a guy wants to just do handshake so I do that instead.
Usually though it starts with handshakes then progresses to hugs. I think they can tell I'm a bit stand offish but once I initiate hugging to greet it becomes that from then on. On rare occasions certain ones just stuck to handshake and rebuffed my hug 😅
