What does it mean when a girl gives you something?

Would a girl give you some food in a subtle way so that no one can find out if she likes you?

Something food related (like a snack, a drink and/or food related).

By this I mean by her doing it voluntarily (and not as a restaurant worker, not a bar attendant and not as a promotion for something).

Context:

There's this girl I've known for a while she seems to get along with me (we joke around most of the time), she looks at me from a distance (even when I'm not looking) and bites her lip when she looks at me (rarely).
