Are most girls Demisexual?

Demisexual is basically the requirement of a deep emotional connection before being able to feel sexually attracted to someone. (Note:Demisexual is not an orientation of its own, you can be straigt- demi, gay-demi etc)

I heard these girls talking about how their demisexual because they can't feel sexual attraction to someone without an emotional connection to someone, but from my understanding of girls as a whole this id the same for them. So are all girls technically Demisexual?

Not really. You can still be straight and feel like you want a emotional connection. I think demisexual people are just straight people who wanted their own sexuality. Also if you look at the reasons why women often require a emotional connection then you will see it is based on our PRIMAL wiring and our basic instinct that goes back to cave man days.

There is no black and white answer. It is impossible to say. Literally each person is different and may experience different attractions at different times with different people. There is no measure. There is no exact or simple answer.

As a collective tho men are definitely more attracted to female specific traits and women in general.
While i guess some women find men attractive its not more than he looks nice, men sre basicslly just good company that desire them and in return desire back

I'm not. I need sexual attraction to connect romantically. Otherwise we're just friends.

I honestly think some women are confused because they consciously choose not to have sex outside of a relationship. That doesn't mean they don't feel sexual attraction to others. Women push down their natural sexuality a lot, so it seems "good."

I think there may be some who genuinely feel that way, but most are repressing their natural sexuality to do what society says is "good."

We don't have as obvious of arousal as men (aka erections) so I think women find it easier to push away their natural impulses - especially if they were indoctrinated at a young age that they're supposed to be a certain way.

A weird example would be meat - humans are evolved to eat it. My mouth waters when I smell cooking meat. It's a natural inclination. But a vegetarian can repress that to the point they don't conciously feel that sensation anymore.

Not really, although from my experience more women are demisexual than men. It also may be confused with religious factors that tend to enforce waiting for marriage and whatnot. But demisexuality is also part of the asexuality spectrum, so it differs for everyone. A lot of people also confuse demisexuality with just being picky.

I think that "demisexual" is just another stupid modern buzzword made up by someone who felt either special or ostracized for their rather regular behavior.
Biologically, the purpose of emotional attraction is to facilitate procreation and provide the protection of both parents to the offspring/mother.
