As one girl has already mentioned, if that were the case one night stands and hook-ups wouldn't happen. Surveys done on this usually show that around 2/3 of women have had at least one same night hook-up. Then you can look at the number of people today who get into "friend-with-benefits" situations where they have sex without emotional attachment, at least in the beginning.
There are also other studies which say that women decide whether or not they'd have sex with a man within the first couple of minutes. This doesn't mean that she decides that she 100% wants to have sex with that guy, just that it's a possibility as long as he doesn't do something to put her off pretty much. Don't forget that women have to worry about their safety much more-so than we do, so even if it's a one night stand at the very least they have to make sure that he's not a rapist, a stalker, a serial killer etc.
What you have to understand is that many women simply want you to believe this to be true because it's part of their sexual strategy. They also portray themselves to be this way to avoid slut-shaming, they can't be open about the things I mentioned in the above paragraph a lot of the time for this reason. When I say sexual strategy also, what I mean by that is that when they find a guy who they think is boyfriend material, they know that he's less likely to take her seriously if he thinks that she's a slut. He's more likely to think that she's a slut if she has one night stands and is very openly sexual. It's a better strategy for her, even if she has had one night stands before, to have him believe that she's demisexual and that she needs to have an emotional connection with a man to have sex with him. It also benefits her and other women if men in general believe this. For this reason I actually doubt that demisexuality even exists.
Most women care for emotional attachment, means they want to have their feelings being "docked" with the male's (emotional) feelings. You may call that demisexual or just pure natural heterosexual.
By that logic there would be no one night stands/ and or casual hook ups.
