+1 yGenerally, no, they aren't. Women are completely capable of being sexually attracted to generally attracted to men, but unlike men we tend to be more stimulated by emotional means rather than visual means alone. This is typically because allowing oneself to become completely taken and aroused by somebody is an act of complete and total trust that creates a place of comfort that makes engaging with sex a lot more appealing.
Mind you, this may not apply to all women and I can't speak on behalf of all of them. This is just my personal theory.
Besides, demisexuals are individuals who fall between a spectrum of asexual and sexual, essentially implying they are nearly incapable of feeling sexual arousal for anybody who isn't someone they have a profound romantic bond with. Most women don't fall under that dramatic of a spectrum (I don't mean to use dramatic in a disrespectful way FYI).
Most women are completely sexual, but they just aren't so easily stimulated by visuals, but that doesn't mean that they can't be.410 Reply- +1 y
Good explanation, thanks for sharing an opinion.

No problem.

A couple of more things I wonder is if women can be aroused/stimulated visually by seeing one of their fetishes. Also since women are aroused emotionally, does that mean women don't find men's body sexually attractive?
- +1 y
Oh no we do find them sexually attractive, but for a lot of us we aren't going to be so overwhelmingly aroused that we soak through our panties every time we see a guy with a six pack.
Seeing a fetish? Like porn or whatever? Well that depends on the woman I assume. - +1 y
@LaVilaine Thank you!
- +1 y
In what way do women find men sexually attractive? Is it because of what men can do (their prowess) or is it because of how they look?
- +1 y
That is going to depend on the woman.

I think I understand a little bit more now, thanks again for sharing an opinion.

Not a problem friend I am glad I could help.

While we are not as visual as men, women (generally) can get aroused from caressing touches, as well a general closeness when cuddling.
The term demisexual comes from the orientation being "halfway between" sexual and asexual. The majority of women would be deemed sexual.27 Reply- +1 y
So the sight of a "attractive" man doesn't arouse you?
- +1 y
Do find men physically attractive?
- +1 y
When you look at men do you think it's in a different perspective than when us straight men look at other men?
- +1 y
That makes sense, thank you.
+1 yNo, that's just how female sexuality generally works. Actually, the average woman has a higher libido than the average man. Our needs are a little more complex, that doesn't make us demisexual.

So women don't find random "attractive" men sexually attractive?
- +1 y
They do find them attractive, but they often need more than that to be turned on.

I starting to understand things better now, thank you.

No problem, let me know if you have more questions!
Anonymous(30-35)+1 y(how we are all "demisexual" just because most of us are sexual in different ways than men)
What kind of difference it is that doesn't make you demisexual but still it is different than male sexuality?
What is the core differences been typical male vs female sexuality? If women don't experience sexual attraction in the same way men do then in what way they experience sexual attraction and how it is anymore different than demisexuality?
Suppose when do general men see attractive girls (symmetry face, flexure of the spine, ratio 7:10, curvy ) there is a feeling of sexual attraction (heart rate increases so you feel anxious in your chest, stomach flip, zing in stomach - kind of a sudden jolt of electricity, tingling/throbbing/pulsing etc.)
If there is a core difference then women don't get that feelings of sexual attraction when they see attractive guys, demisexuals also don't feel it.
Then in which way women are different than demisexual? Curious00 Reply
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yGood question, I've been wondering this myself. It's amazing that people don't spend more time having sex, and think the biggest reason for that is women just not getting involved. Or insisting upon an asinine level or length of interaction beforehand.

I'll get turned on if I see a hot guy shirtless, however it's different girls just think he's attractive or "wow, he's so hott" not how men are attracted to breasts though.

yes we are
not all of course but id say a huuuuuuuge number... many of the ones saying no are just trying to be like men and are ashamed of anything feminine21 Reply- +1 y

I mean, women have to deal with a lot of bullshit from men. Men sending them dick pics, stalking them, ogling them, approaching them and not taking hints when they say no, 100s of messages a day from men on dating websites. If you have a glut of something, if something is easy to attain, then it's natural that you should be more discerning, or in the worst interpretation, less appreciative. It's that cliche that if you were a lock, and every key managed to open you, then you'd be a poor lock, if you were a key and managed to open every lock, then you'd be a master key! Plus men tend to be physically orientated and women psychologically orientated. So men's approach tends to be 'basic' anyway.

If you say so. The last time I remember you posting this, unless a girl said something like "OMG yes I get wet seeing a naked guy every time" - you wanted to argue that we aren't heterosexual, but "demisexual" - which is nothing but a made up word that someone used to try to explain some core differences been typical male vs female sexuality.

On other websites, people said that Romans were a society like that. They said that based on their artworks, men were sexualized more than women.

A lot of museums have artworks of nude men that are in good shape, not just from Rome but from various European cultures.

Yes, I've heard that men were objectified by other men as well, how was women's sexuality vilified?
- +1 y
I think every society tends to make men be the ones that appear more sexual.
- +1 y
Unfortunately that's what "gender roles" do.
- +1 y
It probably is a different understanding of gender roles but since they are societal norms I don't really follow them.

Opinion Owner+1 yyou're welcome. Actually, it's a little bit complicated. As a straight girl, I do feel sexually attracted to any man I find attractive but without an emotional connection, I definitely wouldn't have sex with them. For me, sex is not a recreation and exchanging bodily fluids with just anyone is just plain gross. I don't mean to offend anyone with my opinion either, this is just what I really think.

That's understandable.
