I slept with a jerk. How do I get over it and stop hating myself?

I knew he was a jerk before sleeping with him (he's not a friend). I don't regret having sex so much since I was horny. But I am bothered a lot by the fact that I let myself hook up with such a guy.

How do I get over this awful mistake that I made?

PS. I already told him he was a douche bag...but I doubt a guy like that has any feelings to be affected and learn to be a better man. If I run into him again (which I most likely will), how do I make him feel like a jerk? I know this might sound childish, but he is worst of the worst...

This might sound like a silly question, but if you knew he was a jerk then why did you sleep with him in the first place? Honestly, if you were so horny, you might as well have practiced some "self love" instead, or even found a better guy.

How do you make him feel like a jerk? You probably don't, since he probably already knows he is one. Maybe you should instead make him feel humiliated? Tell him he wasn't so great in bed, and that it was essentially just a pity f*** because you recognised how sorry and pitiful he was.

Yes, I want to humiliate him because he has no respect for anyone. so rather than ignoring him if I see him out at a bar/club, I should approach him and tell him he doesn't know how to please a woman?

Sadly, anything you say probably won't make him feel like a jerk, in fact it will probably make it fun for him knowing it bothers you, I know a few jack**ses like this they love to get under someone's skin and the more you react the more pleasure they get. I don't know the RIGHT way to deal with them, my way works but it's wrong.

As for how to get over it, its just like any other mistake you make in life learn from it and time the more time you dwell on it and beat yourself up over it the longer you will hate yourself.

You can't keep beating yourself up about it. It's done. Life is about learning and making mistakes. It enables maturity and growth. The best revenge is to learn and NOT repeat the same thing again.

If you run into him again, I would ignore him like he didn't exist. Go about your business and make him think he is invisible to you. You are above him, and by moving forward in a healthy direction sends a clear message that you are strong and won't let trash bring you down too.

Be careful with that....only because you don't want people to perceive that you are instigating trouble. If that happens in a bar, you might tell the girl, "If I were you, I'd run FAR away from him." Although if she is intoxicated, I am not sure she will listen?

The more you focus on this, the worse you are gonna feel. It's OK and normal to feel mad and want revenge, but the only thing that's gonna make you feel better is realizing that most people end up sleeping with at least one person they regret, so it doesn't make you any worse of a person.

It only happened once, so now you're just the wiser for it, and will probably be more choosy in the future.

Most men like that can't feel like jerks or else they wouldn't be doing what they're doing in the first place, so I think that's a waste of time.

Also don't be mad at him, you should have been more careful with who you slept with, move on and don't make the same mistake again next time.

I'm glad you recognised him to be a jerk but it scares me when you say that you couldn't help but sleep with someone who's evil just cause you were horny. Maybe it's an attraction thing his abnoxious behaviour shows you power so you fell for it. which is a problem everyone faces. Women fall for asshole thinking status, money and power will help you and men fall for women's physical features thinking it'll bare better children. We have to fight against our instincts. Harsh fact is you can't do anything to that guy to make him feel bad. It was your choice to sleep with him and you want to hurt the guy.

well we all make mistakes. But yu can't leT yur body control yur mind that's what they make sex toys 4. Its kind of hard to forget what happend especialy if yu see him a lot. I think the best way to deal with aperson like that is don't let him know yu can't stand the ground he walks on. Its showing him he has control.
