Lots of touch & all the sudden apologies for touching?

A guy I really like use to try & touch me all the time- finding any excuse to touch me & always hold intense eye contact. He's also a big flirt & I could have misread his interest. We had an awkward kiss moment leaving me wondering if he is interested & maybe making him wonder if I'm interested. Afterwards he'd try not to touch me and apologized if he did. But he still held intense stares… So here's my question:

He noticed I like him and he doesn't feel that way & want to stop anything from happening!

He thinks that I'm not interested after the awkward kiss moment, and don't want to envoke anything because of it.

It sounds like he was trying to show interest, and read from you that you weren't interested, so now he's holding back because he thinks you aren't into him.

The best thing for you would be to start initiating physical touch, or to outright make a move on him. Remember though, DO NOT HINT! Girls are terrible at hinting, and guys are even more terrible at reading hints. So if you feel something, say that, don't try to say something so he'll read the context and his horoscope and some swamp gas reflections so it'll all come together to him.

Like I said though, it sounds like you should make a move on him.

I wouldn't say much. Actions speak louder than words. Next time you see him physically touch him... but your hand on his arm or back. Then when he opens up a little bring up the awkward moment you two shared. Then just be honest. Tell him you loved it, or that you wish you'd kissed him on the lips, or that you just wanted to throw him on the table and mount him. Be blunt and honest!

Ok, the awkward kissing moment went as follows: I thought he was trying to kiss me after we hugged. So I kissed him on the cheek. He withdrew after about 4 sec, all blushing & surprised. I panicked cause I thought I misread the kiss so I told him I've got to go & I left quickly. Apart from the "no touching" he's a bit quiet & less flirty. But he's still looking into my eyes as if he's looking for my soul :) lol unless he thinks I'm crazy...

Welll if a guy touches you all the time that's a bad sign. But it depends where he touches you. Sometimes that kind of touching could mean he wants sex. And he's a big flirt? So you gotta watch him because he will flirt with other girls. I don't think you want a guy like that right?
