Why did she hug me from behind?

We were outside during lunch and she told me to follow her somewhere secluded, near the trees. She tilted my body until I was facing forward and wrapped her arms around me from behind. I asked her what she was doing and instead of stopping, she embraced me even tighter, explaining that she "just couldn't help it." She's hugged me for almost no reason several times before but this is the first hug from behind. She hugs me every single day, before class starts and after it ends.

Ask her, I wouldn't be surprised if she's depressed or if something is truly wrong with her. I know one girl who was close go committing suicide, and she hugged me every day to keep hed sanity.
