However if the guy doesn't have money because he has been unemployed for months and is not doing anything with his life or has no goals- it is a turn off. It's not because he doesn't have money it is because he is being lazy and not taking initiative in life- that's a huge deal breaker.
If he doesn't have money because he is working on a lower position but is still aiming for something bigger- it is no problem at all- a man with goals and drive will always be a good choice :)
It's funny to me how the men who think that women are only after their money either don't have anything else to offer (being poor quality people and thus not worth spending time with) or are so unsuccessful and embittered that they couldn't possibly believe that they're standing in their own way.
I love money in the sense that I work hard to make money. But if you're talking about is that a reason for me to like a guy because he has money, then no. Money is not important to me when it comes to relationships. His time spent with me is what I cherish more than anything.

well, if i make good money, i'm going to want someone who is on my level. obviously. you can be an independent woman but admire a man who has obviously planned his life well and is successful. do you think that poor people end up with rich people all the time? no. for the most part, poor people end up with other poor people. and successful people end up with other successful people. your options are silly. you want to make yourself feel better about being a failure at life by saying that women who are attracted to success are incapable of being independent themselves.
But i don't want to have a relationship with a female because she considers, that i make $0.50 less than her per hour. Less so when she gets all defensive and lashes out by throwing insults and really believes, that money does buy respect. The government has no amount of respect from me.
@watercolor_lions really the guys just didn't know who to choose as partners and that's why... they shouldn't generalise that women love money cause most of the time it's not the case.
