I like sporty and casual type of tomboyish girls, goth and military style also look great on them, but I don't like butchy or androgynous type of girls with short or spiky hair, and I really dislike girls who wear suits and ties. Basically, I like girls who wear sporty and causal outfits like: t-shirts, short shorts, tank-tops, skinny jeans, crop-tops, tight sweatpants, gym shorts, tracksuits, cameo pants etc. As for the footwear, I prefer girls in sneakers, combat boots, biker boots, cowgirl boots, goth boots (e. g Dr Martens) etc - flats in general, I don't like high heels.
The picture of workout girl shown above, is not a tomboy and does not convey that type at all... A lot of women who work out are actually very feminine, have firm and non-saggy curves...
@StarsInTheEyes Oh really, do you personally know her? No? I didn't think so ;) Feminine girls who work out mostly do some girly stuff like pilates, dancing, fitness and other lighter exercises.
I don't know her. To be honest, a lot of feminine women who work out do not do things like yoga or pilates... They do weights and intense workouts and they are sexy. It is stereotypical to think that women who are feminine only do "light" workouts. I think yoga is too slow for me, and I do high intensity interval training and weight trainings, including aiming at being able to do pullups, for the physical strength and not to get buffed... I do weights like squats, lunges, deadlifts, hip abduction and adduction, leg press, standing leg extension, etc. Probably you as a guy have not heard some of the names, but I have done them all plus other ones... I won't tell you what kind of compliments I've heard, but my point is to advocate that we active women can be very feminine.
Honestly, just speaking plainly, they're the only kind of women I really relate to.
And I guess my "type" is women who are into health, fitness, survival, martial arts, paramilitary training, strategy and military history, um. . . you know, music I guess, but mostly survival. I like tomboys but I don't like it if they look like a butch. Like she's pretty cute. I like the baseball cap and tee look. I like the skater girl look as well.
It really depends. If she can dress classy and be womanly when the moment calls for it, then I'd be fine with it. If she is tomboyish to the point of Jessica Jones type of sharp wit, dark humor, scathing sarcasm, I'd be attracted, but I wouldn't consider her long-term relationship material. Same goes for an overly girly girl.
I prefer down-to-earth intelligent geeky women who have a bit of tomboy, a bit of girliness, with a touch of class.
I like them as long as they don't start showing tendencies in them that I dislike in people in general. Such as a lack of manners. But tomboys are fine every regard to me as long as they're passionate about something. Whether it be music or video games I don't care
My girlfriend grew up in a blue collar family and knows more about cars than I do. She isn't vain and would rather go camping than be wined and dined. She's smart and has a great body and nurturing nature. I usually don't go for girls who were tomboys growing up but this girl is awesome.
Yes, in fact I prefer tomboys because they aren't as emotionally needy as girly girls. They can have a girly look sometimes like ruby rose, but the attitude is present, or they can dress like a guy and look damn good.
A woman who is game for flag football or hiking through knee deep mud, sexy as fuck. A woman who likes to dress up in punk or grunge fashion with slightly more masculine traits, cool but, meh. If i was interested in someone who in every way behaved like a man I would date a man.
Tom boys are attractive, as long as they look like girls. That is, they can wear some of the same clothes a guy does, but they need to have something particularly feminine about them. Such as a pony tail, something pink, cute shoes, a cute top, jeans that show their shape, or top that somewhat (not a whole lot) accentuates their boobs, a type of hat that a girl would wear, etc.
Depends on the woman. Also she would need to dress in ways that still show curves. The picture you out up does not scream ‘tom boy’ to me since her hair is down & she has makeup
Well, there better be some shred of female left inside that tomboy! I need to roleplay the knight in shining armor saving the damsel in distress! It is hard to do that when the damsel is playing the part of a dude! The naked body screams female but the personality speaks male. Yeah, let's not even touch upon the subject of transgender, I am freaking myself out here!
Sure, why not? Once had a fairly attractive girlfriend who was a real tomboy (she was studying to be an auto mechanic). Had a good time with her and learned quite a bit about auto repair.
some of them are attractive in a way, i remember when i was in the 5th grade there was this one tomboy that lived across the street from me, man i had a huge crush on her.
I prefer feminine women but some can really pull off the style of a tomboy. It can be a fast track to the friend zone for most, keep that in mind. You're pretty much asking to be one of the bros.
I can find them attractive but it depends on who the tomboy is. if she lose her all femininity, she won't be attractive for me. girls should have femininity, even if they are tomboyish.
I suppose some jeans/sweatpants and a plain tee are acceptable as well as sportswear. But please no caps or dumb hair color or short haircuts or acting like a boy or anything like that.
