What Girls & Guys Said

If you have it flaunt it. They work hard to have that beautiful bod why don’t show it?
Because it makes me feel good.
To give a little confidence boost, to make me feel a little sexy.
Guys just don't really like me so it doesn't give me more attention.
I'm overweight and not really social, so guys just avoid me.
Sometimes you don’t realize something looks sexy.
Sometimes, you want “you look nice” and not “hey sexy, let me put it in your butt.” and it’s only the latter type of attention then don’t want.
Why do guys send dick picks to girls they don't know?
I'm half guilty of that..(the don't know part)
... So you flirt with girls you don't know or...
No. If a girl asks for it i send her a dpick
Aren't you like 1 year old?
No..
Less than that?
13..
Months?
Sure. A 13 month old baby knows fluent English, dick pics, girls, social media and how to text
Good one
Damn! That's really impressive!
Cus their thirsty as fuck
@That1tallguy very true
They dress up for themselves because they feel pretty and confident.
Let the haters speak what they want. People love putting others down when they’re happy.
Anyway that’s just my opinion. :)
I like looking good for myself and feel good for myself. Compliments are nice but only if it's not sexual
For confidence. Sexy clothes to women is like suits and tie to men.
That was such an uneducated answer.. I would explain but not even gonna waste more time typing
It’s not uneducated. Lmao
Too many partners I've been with have LITERALLY unwrapped my dick with their teeth, among other things, when I wear a suit. You'd have to be deliberately clueless or delusional not to see the link between sexy clothes and... obviously enough... SEX! Jon Hamm made his career/sex symbol status on the suit. James Bond too. Sexy clothes turn on partners, let's not play pretend here
@TrueCelt You know what I just realised, sexy clothes is an umbrella for many styles of clothing whereas suits and tie is one specific style of clothing. What you find sexy (bodyhugging short dresses) may not be what I feel most confident and sexy in. And what other guys find sexy may not be what you find sexy (exposing your neck or ankle e. g.). So the reason why I feel I'm not dressing up to get male attention is because I get to choose what to wear and what I feel best in. I don't choose to wear things that I think will get the most male attention. If you happen to like what I like, cool. If you happen to not like what I like, oh well.
Oh and to QA: I don't know what kind of sexy clothes you/they are talking about, but my 'sexy' clothes are comfortable to wear. And generally speaking sexy clothes tend to mean wearing less fabric on you. And wearing less is more comfortable. The stares are what makes it uncomfortable.
Okay. So sexy clothes doesn't equal suit and tie. I'll accept that. But don't try to say it's all individual. The guy who likes seeing your ankle, is gonna cum in his pants and that miniskirt and cleavage.
So let's just say, showing your bare or tights-clad legs, wearing something tight or see-through that shows off your ass, showing cleavage or wearing something see-through or tight over your tits, all amount to the same as suit and tie, or tight leather pants, or topless for a dude.
So yeah. You wear those things, you know from the guy who likes your ankle, to the guy who stares and openly grabs his dick, you're going to get attention. Bear in mind, this is about your awareness, and honesty. "Oh but I didn't intend...", isn't genuine. Because you are aware what guys find sexy, you're not a teenager. Once you're aware that your clothes affect others too (positively, erections are nice), that awareness means you're never able to wear those clothes again, and pretend you won't get attention. And deep down? The biology isn't open to negotiation. Your body is telling you to preen your feathers for the best possible mate. Good example: if the actor/celeb you find most sexy, Channing Tatum or Bieber or Zac Efron or whoever, is coming to your party/ is friends with your friend, are you going to go to the bathroom and make yourself look as pretty as possible? I'm close to a lot of women, so I do know the answer to that. I think we just need to be honest about this
@TrueCelt I give you one example: high-waisted shorts. Most guys hate them and says it looks like wearing diapers. Most girls wear them anyway, because we like how it looks on us.
Well a frumpy jumper or stained sweatpants are the same but you don't wear those for confidence, do you?
Because they want attention, but only from the guys that they like
Im not a woman but I've observed quite a few and believe me when I say most women want to be seen. Some want to be seen by all men and some by one it depends. It all boils down to a human nature, wanting to be loved and all that jazz.
Because i like to look in the mirror and actually think i look good. It boosts my own confidence.
It's pretty easy to attract attention for a girl who are dressed reveling.
A women can wear sexy clothes (in traditional understanding) and look good or not look good. She can not wear provocative clothes and also look good or not so much. But some girls has a srereotype that "sexy" = "good look" and only so. They would be surprised if found out that men find attractive a wide range of things, not only reveling clothes.
We wear what we feel sexy/ nice/good etc in if it draws attention so be it but we wear what makes us feel good
(I look out to the sunset, carrying a steaming mug of tea pondering the very question)
Women are mysterious creatures...
It depends sometimes a guy thinks something is sexy and a girl doesn't like the picture you put up with the girl I don't think what she is wearing is sexy but other people might and I'm not talking about the obviously things that are sexy
And tbh girls who dress sexy on purpose probably want attention
Because it makes them feel more confident and it's what they feel comfortable wearing.
Some women are just used to wearing those clothes so they don't find them very uncomfortable
Because they are attention whores no offense to women as guys dress certain ways too to get attention. If you see a pretty chick and she notice you looking keep looking and just say hi. Gym women dress pretty much naked and they know what they doing.
They want attention from cool fun guys, not from creepy deperate losers. The same way you like attention from hot girls but not from old balding gay men. Nature isn't fair, get over it.
Quite a lot of things we do as human beings we do by Instinct. I believe Jordan Peterson gave really good examples during his interview with VICE, not the crappy edited video, the full 16 min segment.
well some girls dress for attention, and some girls dress the way they feel most comfortable and beautiful. also some girls (like me) are into fashion and we try and dress cute
Wanting attention doesn't mean "wanting to be hit on by tactless jerks"
Well i dont know fpr sure but me im gonna shine fpr myself make myself feel good first.
It’s only for attention. Don’t let these girls fool you. They just want to catch the right guy’s eye.
Because men buy all their clothes so they don't own sweat pants
Why would men think they are entitled to bugging women up?
Why do women think they're entitled to act inconvenienced when another human being who just happens to have a penis and testicles tries to acknowledge you? If you get your mind out of the gutter you might find we just like interaction, it doesn't have to mean anything
@TrueCelt you mean acknowledge as in harass her? oh yeah, sure women have no right to be inconvenienced with that. you are totally right.
Acknowledge. To notice or make eye contact, potentially engaging in conversation. Is that harassment?
We just want to be pretty and sexy and look fresh I don’t want attention too but I wear clothes like this
They can also be doing it for themselves (for their own self-perception).
To feel sexy ourselves. Or to make other girls jealous lmao
Simple answer they wanna feel good and confident about them selves or show off.
When comes to high heels or some cloths that hurt them to wear they just wear it anyway and just ingnore it
we SAY we don't want any. don't believe anything we say.
Why?
@Aaronbenton cause we want to do what we do in this life and not be shamed about it. either if thats slutting around, getting attention and ego boosts, enjoying special priviledges and double standards etc. we will deny these exist or are our end goal, it doesn't mean its this way just because we say so though. like when some guys say they love you to get in your pants? you can't take everyone's words at face value.
neuroscience has shown that our brain is WIRED to crave for attention about our looks. can shame nature really... haha.
Hmm true 👍🏼
So you say something then you mean something else
@Aaronbenton one would think that after 30 years of interacting with us you'd have that figured out already xD
Yes I figured that out. Just don't like generalising the same condition for women
Thought different people with different perspective
Well I appreciate that at least a few people on here are honest. It's refreshing.
Good 👍🏼
You know, i too had this doubt as to why they wear such clothes and then get angry when guus stare at them... paradoxical isn't it? Well eagerly awaiting others opinions...
It's not about comfort dude it's about feeling like you look good. It's kinda like buying sweet ass raybans and strutting your stuff, it's just for yourself.
because it makes THEM feel goooddd, it is their nature
And some appreciate how Good you look!! Sadly, not every woman accepts the compliment with grace...
I think it's because it's comfy and makes them feel good.
To feel good about themselves—just because we want to look and feel pretty doesn’t mean we want your attention.
A good question, i always wear totally normal clothes, because i dont want attention
People enjoy style and it may make them confident. Its the same as people who enjoy dressing in drag or goth or punk. They enjoy an aesthetic... Whats the problem with that?
Believe it or not... most women are dressing for other women. It's a competition for who's the hottest. The reason that men's attention is not welcomed.
It's COMPLETE BS WHEN THEY SAY IT ISN'T FOR ATTENTION...
Dont listen to what a woman says watch her actions.
Skirt in the depth of winter?
See through shirt?
All of this shit is for attention even heels. Women market themselves on their looks and that will always be the case.
It's their greatest asset. So why wouldn't they flaunt it before that attention disappears as they age
Unnecessary? Seriously? That doesn't even make sense, I mean it's like saying it's unnecessary to look at a beautiful butterfly.
When a lady dresses sexy, of course the attention will come with it, there are people who lust after beauty and there are people who appreciates it... It's human nature...
Because 99% of girls fall into 2 categories.
1) attention whore
2) professional victim
And normal they are both
I don’t think they wear it for attention, it is called fashion.
The outfit in The picture I look at it as a cute outfit not a sexy outfit and most women will wear sexy clothes because they love how they look in them it's like if you think you look hot you're gonna wear it even when it's just for yourself
They want attention in an appreciative way not in a sexual way & the clothes they wear are usually comfortable, your assumptions are not correct
They want to feel good in clothing they like. Everyone has some favorite outfit they wear to feel nice and those clothes and those sexy clothes are that for some women.
Ever thought about the fact it may be for self love? Wearing something that makes them feel great? Its not for oggling eyes but just because they want to feel good
Sometimes women look sexy in simple clothing, so this is not much of an issue. I would suggest women don't wear revealing clothing in crime-ridden areas especially in poor countries where laws are not favorable to women.
Well honestly some women do want attention, some just want to fit in and be accepted by others whereas some just like to feel empowered knowing that they look good
Women want to be admired from afar. Only a small percentage welcome being approached.
Don’t know what to tell you. If I were to go out purposely presenting my body in a sexual way - it’s only normal people look and that I get attention for it.
honestly tight clothes and heels are fcking uncomfortable and i rarely wear them. they don't make me feel confident at all. and the same thing goes for my female friends too. we all dress up only when we want to go to a party or look good for a certain someone
Because they want attention but only from the guys they like. Unfortunately the world doesn't work that way.
Very true for me
@chrissyla8706 LOL! Thanks for the honesty!
Because it makes them feel confident apparently
Wahmen don't agree with ya
yes maybe
Potato sacks don't get you dates but you do stand out.
Cause sometimes we don’t always feel sexy mostly that time of the month.
All women want attention. Period. There is never enough.
They think they are advertising to the men they find attractive. They don't seem to realize they put themselves on display for anyone.
She just wants attention. She doesn't care who she gets it from, she's thinking quantity over quality.
To show off to other women more then attracting men. when attracting men only the "right ones" should look i think. I don't know and i know it.
You'll find me in a pair of sweats and a normal T-shirt on any day.
I really don't know why my friends do it - fashion?
honestly for me, i just look super cute and hot and want to show off my sexiness
Because they want to feel pretty, to be proud of themselves.
