Why do women sometimes act irrational?

Question

Not her to bash women all day long. But this is something I often think about.

If women are naturally temperamental at times then there is nothing we can really do about it. However makes me really get angry at the feminist movement and "equal opportunity" bullsh*t because men are naturally better leaders, decision makers, etc.

If it's option number 2, then our politically correct society really needs to be corrected. Women can enjoy the same opportunities as men, but also should be REPRIMANDED and held responsible just like men for not behaving like a rational person at times (which they rarely punished for) .

Of course I'm making some very politically incorrect statements. But this is just my thoughts.

Do you actually have any scientific evidence that men are better leader or better decision makers? Tbh, decision making skills have nothing to do with gender, but the person's attitude and knowledge of the subject. I.e. it's a common belief that women make better decisions regarding social issues and education, while men make better decisions regarding crime and public safety. This may not be the case in reality. You still can't categorize, because individual people make individual mistakes.

People will do whatever they can get away with - I don't think it's right that she hasn't been charged with murder, though it's well known that judges are less harsh on sentencing females, because of gender stereotypes. But say it was a male judge, then isn't it someone from the opposite gender enabling the inequality to happen? If as a society, we continue to base our opinions, beliefs and decisions on gender stereotypes, NOTHING will change. It's not the law that has to change, but the thinking of the people.

wow. lol so you aren't in favor of equal opportunity and you think its bullsh*t because men are "naturally better leaders, decision makers, etc." On top of that you think women are getting the same opportunites as men. Then to entertain us further you claim we haven't been held responsible enough for our alleged tendency to behave irrationally. You are not only politically incorrect but extremely ignorant.

The ironic part of this entire post is that you fail to present your argument with any rational thought, logic, reason, evidence, intelligence, etc. Good job. lol

Jesus, women can be irrational, but so can men. Some women are just more likely to be flamboyant about it because the majority of us are more comfortable with showing our emotions. That is due partly to our brain chemistry, and partly due to the fact that society has shown men that they should hide their emotions for thousands of years. Irrationality... I don't think you really understand what that means. Oh, and fyi, it has been proven that men's hormones fluctuate like women's every month. Women just have to deal with horrid cramps.

I think the issue of feminism and female irrationality points to one simple basic fact, men and woman have their roles in society. A man can do badly performing a woman's role either in thought or deeds. So can a woman trying to perform a man's role. This therefore makes it clear that irrationality is universal but the degree to which irrationality is displayed in a situation depends largely on whether it is a man playing a woman role or a woman playing a man role in the situation. For example, where a woman stabbed a man during a heated argument, clearly shows that it is not a woman role to engage in aggressive situation. They make little or no rationale behind their actions in aggressive situations. If I was a judge, I could not be too harsh on the woman either BUT SHE DESERVES A PUNISHMENT. The severity of a punishment should depend on the offender capacity to avoid that crime. Woman naturally do not have the capacity to be logical in aggressive situations.

They aren't 'naturally' irrational at all, it 's just that they can often get away with hurting peop;le with their 'natural' irrationality when a man would pay a big price for acting like that in the first place.

They want equality, but also the special privileges left over from the days when women were considered too hopelessly emotional for business...

i think women CAN do what men can

BUT women are more built for love and nuturing

like the men should bring home the bacon and woman prepare it.

but in my opinion I think men should do the harder stuff, not because women can't but because men are to protect women.

i don't like feminist most of the time either.

i want a man to be my rock and me theirs in a way.

its hard for a woman to go on the battle field when we physically cannot carry a wounded man.

i want to be the woman to help the man heal.

I think it's people in general. For every crazy woman you find, I bet I can find an equally crazy man. As for getting away with crimes like you said, women are usually smaller and weaker, so it's harder to believe that a man would have to use a weapon to defend himself against a woman I guess. A woman would have a hard time defending herself against a man unless she had the advantage of a weapon
