I think it is unfair for someone bi to assume everyone out there is straight and therefore never express interest. We don't wear sexual orientation labels like a name tag on our clothes. Straight or bi doesn't have a certain "look" or "image." So, they have to take a chance, like anyone else. If they make a move, and you flat out tell them no and you are straight, and they continue, it becomes sexual harassment at that point. But, like it or not, it is a common fantasy with many "straight" women to experiment with another woman. So there seems to be a higher chance of success. Also, when it comes to what is right and wrong, society seems to think it is only a crime when a man is involved in harassing a woman. When it is a woman pushing her sexuality on another woman, it isn't seen as harsh or the same level of harassment. So this may drive or give some women more determination to get what they want. Some women also feel a sense of empowerment if they are able to seduce and "convert" a straight woman into some lesbian sex. They like the chase and effort they have to put forth and basically seducing someone can be very sexy and hot if it works out.

For the same reason some guys try to seduce gay women. They're attractive and the chance they say yes is small but not unheard of. You can't win if you don't try.
