Alex Skeel, recently appeared on television on This Morning, and spoke about the mental and physical torture he endured for months at the hands of his 22-year-old girlfriend, Jordan Worth.
When Alex finally got help because a neighbor heard him screaming, doctors told him he was just days from death, and would not have survived had he not received assistance.During the course of their relationship, 22-year-old Skeel was subjected to every physical and psychological torture technique imaginable, including but not limited to being denied food, being stabbed with a knife, not being allowed to contact his family and friends, being hit with a hammer, bottles, and wood, and even having boiling water poured all over his body.
The domestic abuse survivor was also repeatedly called ‘dumb’, ‘thick’ and ‘stupid’ by his abusive partner. Alex was mentally and physically tortured by his girlfriend.
He talked about how difficult it was to come forward and escape the situation.
He moved in with her for 9 months, during which time she used to hit and stab him with various objects. He had suffered second and third degree burns from the boiling water she had poured over his back. When rescued, ambulance staff noted that Alex had self-treated the injuries with cling film. Hospital staff told him that he was 10 days away from death when he was found by authorities. According to court prosecutor, Maryam Syed, five percent of his entire body was scalded. Syed also told the court that Worth started exercising control over Skeel early on in their relationship, telling him what to wear and who to meet. Worth also broke Skeel’s cellphone so he would not have contact with family and friends, and made him sleep on the floor for 8 months without bedding. In one incident, she told Alex that his grandfather, the family member he was closest to, had passed away. She then scolded him for crying and being upset only to reveal later that she had made up the whole thing.

Hi, i happened across this interview rarely watch daytime tv and at the end phillip said people might say, why didn't you leave, get out? his reply was something like, only if youve been through it would you understand... i never suffered like him however i have suffered domestic abuse myself and at post three years im only just feeling like im moving on and feeling stronger... so many posts even on here between couples where one is confused and dazed as to what to do because LOVE is involved its the same with domestic abuse you love them see their best potential believe in that all the while they are demeaning you to give them more power, detaching you from family and friends. isolated. I honestly started my journey of escape from the internet because things were so odd and i was confused, i looked up things and started to find out behaviour patterns because i thought i was crazy, he told me so... he made me believe even my family thought i was the bad one let alone friends... only when i took a beating to finish it did i eventually discover everyone didn't like him and thought he was a bad one... i still dont trust anyone... three years later... i have to trust myself again first not to fall for that again.. i do admire this guy for the purposes of promoting abuse effects all genders and situations.. i found and believe this though, eventually you can only save yourself no matter what... xx
Jesus. Why in the world did this guy not fight back? He's a male, he's stronger. I don't understand how he let this girl break him like that. Maybe he already had self-esteem issues or something? I'm just not understanding.
i do have a thought tho, Maybe that guy loved her wayy too much, you know? to the point that no matter what bad she did to him, he could never hurt her, or even think about hurting her in any way, you getting what im trying to say?
Well we rarely hear men being victim of domestic violence. And it is horrible both for men and women. And also psychological torturing by wives never get reported. They don't have any scars but they are deeply wounded. Violence is always sad. I don't wish this situation even for my worst enemy.
Well... Injure her in self defense, she takes him to court, she wins. The law always supports the female even when she is playing victim. Males know better than to retaliate against an abusive women, and let the scars prove her guilty instead of taking matters into their own hands. Its more often than not, the only way to effectively put the blame on her, unlike women who can just accuse the man of abusing her and get him dealt with easily.
Yeah there are evil girls in this world. He is a lucky guy. It's good he is telling the world she will never be able to hurt another person again, we ankle bracelet shit smears like this. Monitor every movement.
For all those who belive in or read about greek religion. I think the fucking bitch should die a slow painful death then imortally live forever in the feilds of punnishment or be thrown into tarturus

Domestic abuse is never ok, and frankly I don't understand how these stories don't all end in "The abused party executed their abuser".
