FOR THE BOYS: Why do guys stop talking to girls they 'like' out of nowhere?

s a guy who has already confessed he liked me stopped talking to me all of a sudden ( after an evening playing football with his friends to be precise), his friends don't know me as we had only met recently. I was just wondering if there is some possible explanation for this behavior that I haven't figured out?

- I have tried talking to him but he seems dry and distant, after a couple of interactions like this I just stopped trying and its been about a week since, he has made no effort to contact me.

He met a new chick, or was just trying to get laid and you didn't come around as quickly as he wanted, or he thought you were cute, got to know you and decided he didn't like you anymore. Pretty cut and dried stuff. He didn't want that second date. He was just being nice.

They could all be valid answers, except that I'm pretty sure he did want the second date at the time because he was really nervous asking me, and a couple of days after the initial date he was really sweet and into me.. but then it all changed.. but I guess those reasons could still apply..

Did he ask you out somewhere? what did he do just say he likes you and walk off?

We went on a date, and made plans to go on another one the following week but then he got all weird :S

Maybe the date didn't go well, he didn't like you as much as he thought. I sometimes go on a date with a girl and realize I should have read a book at home. Not saying there is anything wrong with you or not but sometimes people just don't click too

We clicked just fine,the date was pretty smooth and he was heaps into me at the time. I'm pretty sure he wasn't bored or wanting to read a book :P

i don't stop talking the girl I like,the only times I didn't talked to her cause I feel awkward around her or I felt I am being clingy with her

If its a rumour id hope he would of had the guts to confront me, but again these seem to be the only possible reasons.

Well some shud be left alone,my crush used to come to see me regularly,suddenly she stopped coming and I missed it and when I met her,she seems to be annoyed when I was talking to her ,,so I decided to just give her space and talk to her once in a while,,i really like her but I don't want to make her annoyed loose her ,you can't force people to do something they just feel annoyed,just focus on other things,if he talks then talk,if you see him just talk normally
