Yeah, it's really annoying especially if you know that the person who misspell your name really know your name by heart. Some guy does that to me - I can't decide if he's simply being rude or trying to appear like he's not that interested to know my name.

I know he's been checking my social networking sites... Blah! Whatever. I guess I should not pay attention to his petty BS...Yeah, I have a name with a weird spelling, so those who get my name's spelling right, I remember them as sensitive people.

no I don't know why you would. I once spelled my crush's name correctly and it got his attention because his name is spelled differently. so the fact that I spelled it right got his attention, and made him smile, whereas if I had spelled it wrong he would have just corrected me.

I wouldn't do that purposely. It seems disrespectful. I'd try to get the girl's attention in a more respectful manner. This is because you do not know how someone will perceive the misspelling of his/her name. Some people don't care, whereas, others take it to heart.
