'It seems surreal' - what does that mean?!

That's what he said to me. It seems surreal, regarding me and him being together. I asked him what it meant. He said he didn't know. Sooo. What does it mean?!

Well, surreal means dreamlike, so he could be really happy about how things are between you two and he doesn't know how to really express his good feelings. It's not a bad thing by any means. Hell, it could be that he hasn't felt something amazing like this in a long time, if at all.

I think he means he never thought he would be with someone so amazing. Or its just so dream like it can't be real. (In a good way) That's just my opinion though.
