Yes. I never offer it to him, but he is free and ocassionally does, althought just for a few seconds because I'm too weak for his weight.

So lets say there are two situations:
1. You are sitting with friends talking or whatever there are no more seats left and they guy friend sits on your lap without permission? Would you be ok with this and what would you do or say? Would you find it weird?
2. You are also sitting with friends talking or whatever and you see your guy friend standing near you or a couple feet away and there are not seats left? What would you do? (he could be talking you but he is standing) What would you do or say in this scenario?

It's not common for men to sit in women's laps, so I wouldn't offer. I would ask if he would like to sit in my spot though. I don't think I would hug them if they did.

If it were a girl friend I wouldn't offer either since it's a bit too intimate for my taste, but if she wanted to she could. I feel more comfortable with girls.
