Why is she calling me "hun"?

So this is the same girl from the previous situation, it's a bit odd but I wanted to address this out of curiousity. We talk a good bit but have not met each other face to face yet and every now and then she'll call me "hun". what does this mean? I find it a bit odd.

Many girls use hun...dont read too much into it...I use "hun" around guys and friends as well. Its like a cute way of talking. Its really jus a way of being nice. Its in my vocabulary it could be in hers as well. I mean I use it towards a guy I like. You could jus ask her y she says hun? But don't make it seem like it bugs u...jus out of curiousity :)

hun is a term of endearment. I call my friends (girl) hun once in a while, and they do the same. I also say it to one of my guy friends, but that's because I like him, lol.

but really, it could mean friend or something more, it depends on how they mean it, but its hard to tell otherwise.

it may just be one of them words she uses. I'm the same I use hun, babe and sweety. just don't read to much in to it untill anything else happens =)

She`s just being nice, it doesn`t mean much, just that she likes you and I don`t necessarily mean in a "I want a relationship with you" way
