What does it mean when a girl changes the subject when you’re talking about a girl?

I wanted help from my female friend, and all she said was “idk” and provided no further information, then she changed the subject?
Why is that?

Who knows lol she didn’t seem mad or anything, but didn’t have trouble talking about the other thing she changed the subject to. She seems happy with her current boyfriend, yet at one point, considered dating me
