Girls, do u ever forget to reply to texts from a guy you like?

I texted a girl two weeks ago, and she reploed today saying sorry for super late reply but she totally forgot to reply back. Do u forget replying to a guy u like?

I tend to prioritize people I'm dating but if I have a more important problem I might not notice the guy for a few days. Examples include homework assignments, or volunteer responsibilities or family commitments or weddings. In general I choose the temporary and easily resolved responsibility over the long term continuous responsibility. If you have an exam for a class - you will only take it once in your life time so you should prioritize that over your boyfriend. If your sister is pregnant and is in the hospital - she becomes more important than the boyfriend - if your relatives fly thousands of miles to visit you - they are for that weekend more important than your boyfriend cause your boyfriend will still be available after they leave. That is the way I see it. I wouldn't take a few days delay personally.

I do forget to reply to my boyfriend or close friends quite often, but I do realize it as soon as I open the text message app again. Might take one day but definetely not several weeks.
