Little do those girls know that the hair on any body parts are there for a very specific reason. That reason is to protect sensitive body parts from dust and bacteria.
But because a number of those starlets believe that they need to create a new fashion, the brainless girls (and guys of course) have decided that this is the thing to go by, regardless whether they harm themselves or not. That is called group/peer pressure and a great number (if not the majority) of teens and older succumb to that brainless movement.
Yet the same people are exactly the ones that protect themselves when sunbathing by putting SPF50 suntan lotion, just to protect themselves from the nocive UVA/UVB.
Now, where is the logic behind that?
One one end, you remove the protection (hair) but on the other end, you put it on (suntan lotion).
Goes to show that people nowadays are basically just sheep that follow. If the alpha K sheep jumps the cliffs, the human sheep will do it too just because they need to follow the trend.14 Reply- +1 y

Women shaving was actually a commercial money gaining tact made up gillet shaving as they wanted to make more money and they figured the way to do it was by targeting the other half of the world (females) so in magazines they posted females with smooth and hairless armpits and legs. They then said "it was the newest fashion in France" so females started buying razors and shaving and it became the norm. It has nothing to do with the Kardashians, in fact nothing to do with this generation in general.. it was quite awhile ago that shaving started to become aimed at females..

To answer the question, yes. But not many.
Women shaving their body hair isn’t a new thing like a lot of people believe. Women shaving their underarms began before the 1920’s when dresses became sleeveless. After that, when hemlines grew shorter women began to shave their legs. Now for the pubic hairs, in the 80’s and 90’s the hair was trimmed. Then the Brazilian became popular around 2000.
(All of that has nothing to do with the Ancient Greeks, Romans and Egyptians though. They were doing weird shit like burning off their pubes.)
Today, women have all ranges of body hair. From the whole body shaved, to just the legs and a trim for the bush. Whether people think it’s “socially acceptable” or not, modern women really dictate their own personal style of body hair.20 Reply
I'm pretty sure of yes, in fact I think that not having body hair is a consecuence of public ignorance or female sadism ( not sure which one is the correct)
I think most of females think that male like more without body hair, although its difficult to find a man who finds it unattractive, a red flag would be even more strange.
It's like saying I'm sure all the men prefer it with our body hair although most of them tell me, they like it.
Or, women tortures between them on some social ritual to obligate them to quit it.
I think one of those would be the most likely options.20 Reply
+1 ySocial acceptance has nothing to do with sexual attractiveness. Hairy women are generally not considered feminine. Same way large overweight women are not normally seen as physically attractive. This is due to genetics and sexual selection. Trends may adjust little things in attraction. [Heroin sheik of the 90s and thick booty of the 2010s] but essentially they just accentuate different parts of femininity. Body hair doesn't seem to harbor any sexual selection attributes. Maybe in the super cold environments. But not generally across the board.

+1 yI don’t think you realize that lots of women let their body hair grow. You just don’t know it. For example: in the winter, or when were at that time of the month, or just plain laziness. That’s why there’s jeans, and T-shirt’s.
So this whole “socially acceptable” thing is just not even relevant. We all don’t shave sometimes. Unless you’re OCD about it. But for the most part, we don’t shave sometimes, we have body hair, but most of us just cover it up.43 Reply- +1 y
If you knew that, then why’d you ask it?
Growing up I thought it was disgusting to have body hair. But now idc. I see female coworkers with arm hair. I think younger people care more about it. If I see someone with armpit hair I don't think I'd be grossed out unless they smelled bad. I usually trim but for the most part Idc what society says about body hair.

+1 yProbably. I mean men would be less likely to work long hours or try to work for more money if it was socially acceptable and allowed by women. But that could be said about a lot of things, people would probably be more likely to be assholes if it was socially acceptable to do so, so really whats the point of the question?
10 Reply Probably. A fair amount of women start shaving due to it not being socially acceptable. Like I've heard dozens of stories of girls getting bullied in school over having hair, it's kinda ridiculous. If it was socially acceptable, I think we'd be a lot more lax.

+1 y... It's not "socially acceptable" because it's not what people (male AND female) *want.* It's not like this concept came from the sky or is alien or something-- the majority of girls shave because they *want* to. It makes them feel feminine and different from us, which is something they desire. If a girl doesn't want to shave, she doesn't have to. No one is going to make her. But the socially acceptable part of it has followed people's desire, not the other way around.
20 ReplyI definitely think most women would have more body hair. I know many women that only shave to avoid embarrassment or ridicule. Even women that do prefer to shave would probably shave less often if society didn’t hold them to such a standard.
40 ReplyYes they would, the evidence is all over.
Until porn started to become hairless in the late 80'es, this was common though the entire human history.
Since the porn industry change the western culture new generations have grown up with this brand new culture without hair or natural smell. It fits well with out synthetic reality, where we become more more distanced to nature.10 Reply

+1 ypersonally i wouldn't. having the hair on my head in my face is annoying enough lol. i feel more clean and better about my hygiene with less body hair as a woman wheither or not society liked it, accepted it

I got laser treatment and I really like it. I most likely would not have got it in the first place if women did not remove hair. But honestly I just prefer without. My skin is so much smoother and nicer etc.20 ReplyDude come to Ireland if you like hairy women. You will be in Nirvana. 99% of the women here have a bikini line that starts at their ankles and finishes at their neck. Many of them are ginger which means their pubic hair is like an industrial wire brush. Giving oral sex is like washing your face with rusty barbed wire and if you ever wondered what a whales vagina smells like your in luck because they are all rotten.
11 Reply- +1 y
Nothing like rusty barbed wire and and wale snatch.😂🤭
it's 21st century, shaving armpits takes 3 minutes
why should a sane girl reduce her attractiveness for a shitty feminist ideology?
I find armpit hair, hair on legs and too much bush in the panties very unhygienic and unattractive10 Reply424 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. In some cultures it socially acceptable to not wear a bra, and many of those women... choose not to wear a bra 😂
I think the same logic applies with the body hair thing22 Reply
+1 yI do not mind body hair on a woman. So long as she did basic maintenance on it.
Don’t have to shave it all off. Maybe just trim it back to a decent length.10 ReplyNo it’s gross. What these girls call a social statement I just call being lazy.

+1 yEwww count me out 🤢 I'm sorry, but that just sounds gross.
30 ReplyWell, obviously yes?
I don't know if I would, because it's impossible for me to imagine what it would be like to grow up in such a society.10 Reply
+1 yProbably. Especially with leg hair, armpit hair is a two second thing, leg hair is more of a nuisance.
10 ReplyMaybe, it's hard to say because society has taught women to think that body hair is dirty and gross, and we've internalised that.
Please answer mine?20 Reply
+1 yNah, everyone should do whatever they prefer but I just like my body neatly shaved and soft

+1 yI feel I'd be naive to say "no". Also flip it and you'd see it'd be more socially acceptable to have body hair is more women wore it.
10 ReplyI never do things to please society. with that being said , whether it was acceptable or not I would not have more body hair because it's very uncomfortable having a lot of body hair.
20 ReplyYeah - We are slaves to fashions and trends - Any analysis of the pattern of having/not having female pubic hair over the different eras will show you that
Though on mainland Europe female armpit hair is fairly common00 Reply
+1 ySure, people will follow whatever is socially acceptable. But for now body hair on women is not. Women generally like to feel clean and smooth, and men also generally like them that way, so off goes most of the body hair.

+1 yYes. Women don't realize they are slaves to a May 1915 issue of a magazine where the razor was popularized. Women follow after trends so much that they can't realize things on their own.
