Errrr no really. Every date I have been on so far as been to a lovely restaurant or event.
McDonalds to me is like, missing the bus with your friends, getting drenched by the rain and laughing all the way to McDonalds to feast on fries like savages and feeling super shitty about it the next day when you gotta go work out. So if a guy took me to McDonalds, it'd have to be a spur of the moment thing. I do not want a guy to think 'Aw I really like this girl, I'll take her to McDonalds!'
So yeah, it'd look bad in my eyes compared to all the other I've dated.
McDonald’s is someplace I go for something cheap and fast and convenient Most McDonald’s are loud and filled with kids and teens and bustling with the wrong kinds of activity.
Not really how I want to describe a date. I’m ok with not blowing money but fast and convenient in a noisy uncomfortable environment? Nope sorry.
Yes exactly.. how is that even a date?
I get it if its with a boyfriend.. but not first date lol
there is very little on menu I could eat. McDonald's is one of those once a year thing where I crave a fish sandwich or fries and then I realize no it really isn't as good as it used to be. I'd be good with Wendy's because they have salad and baked potatoes/
Uh, what's wrong with mcdonalds? I love their fries...
Sure, it's just a first date! Most first dates are just coffee or meeting up, not a fancy restaurant, geez! We can order a cheap meal, chat, and get to know each other... sounds like a nice date to me. I will even split the cost for the meal or pay my own way
Yeah I'd rather go to a small cafe and have coffee for first date... not to mcdonalds.
And not many people like mcdonalds.
Thats the problem.
And it just shows he's a damn cheapskate for first impression
My first boyfriend in hs, one of our first dates, actually our first date was at McDonalds.
We were in a group project, and we had just finished. We were over at a classmates house, everyone in our group, and I had asked if anyone wanted to go. Everyone said no, except for him. So him and I went. I had the most amazing time, just the two of us. Later that night he called and asked if I wanted to be his girlfriend.
That's different... guys in high school lol
They don't have a proper job
If they're over 25 and still taking women to mcdonalds for 1st date?
Bad impression
Cheapskate alert
At least make it a little more upscale place, like Del Taco or El Pollo Loco. McDonald's? I think I just threw up in my mouth a little...
Not on a first date because that’s too tacky. I’m not hipster enough to be able to go to mcd ironically.
Yes, i think a date is more about getting to know the person rather than where you go. I'm not a date kinda person in the sense of going to a restaurant and eating a meal so going somewhere smaller, I would prefer.
Nailed it 👏🏽
Yeah well a "cafe" is small too. And better place than McDonalds
Its just makes him look like a damn cheapskate
Yeah but you don't date someone for their money, I couldn't care if he took me to McDonald's or the local take away. I care about him not his money.
For their money?
I said "cafe" is better place than McDonalds.
You think rich guys will take a woman to a local cafe on first date? LOL
Going to a cafe on first date doesn't mean I'm going for his money? Lmao wtf you on about.
I wouldn't even know.
And plus, on first dates, I pay for myself.
So you thinking Im going for his money just because I wanted a better place for a first date than McDonalds.. that's just offensive darling
If we are going out on a date I at least want some real food. :)
I have no problem with that. My high school sweetheart and I ( though not together with a child) used to take me to Pizza Hut often. My recent ex fiance' took me to Burger King. It was really nice to eat fast food and talk about whatever we could in his car. It was during the late hours of the night but it was worth it. We were able to discuss so much within such a short- time , that actually lasted 2-3 hours. I had a good time. I am okay with it.
Not really. I mean if it happened then so be it but I wouldn’t think much of the guy let’s say. McDonald’s is a fast food restaurant, not somewhere to go on a date. I guess it really does depend on the type of person you both are.
No, because I hate McDonalds. Their food taste gross and their fries are full of salt. No thanks lol I'd recommend to go somewhere else.
I think it would be hilarious, in a good way, and even better if he brought silver cutlery and battery operated candles and told the person at the counter that he has a reservation for two in a booth.
Yeah for sure. Why not? McDonalds isn't a bad choice at all. Inexpensive, decent food, and a relaxed atmosphere that leaves both people to leave early if they want, or stay longer if it works out well.
If the issue was money, I'd prefer a nice walk than a place where we could not talk
No, and any woman who is needs to raise her standards.
What's wrong with going to mcdonald's?
Yeah, I would be okay with a guy taking me to McDonalds for a first date because inexpensive💷💵, delicious foods 😋 kinda chill atmosphere👏🏼👍🏼 So, WHY NOT! 😂💯
If we're in the area on a date its ok to pop in for a burger but it's not a suitable location on its own for a date
Not necessarily because it's a fast food place, but because I don't enjoy eating there at all. I rarely go to the place.
I've been to Sunset for a first date though.
I have heard of this dreadful restaurant, and the answer is no. I prefer him taking me someplace more classy and healthy.
I'm ok with picking up the food from there and going to a park or something. But I don't think I'd want to stay there as it is full of little screaming kids and teens acting obnoxious.
Well yeah, what if it doesn’t work out afterall? I don’t wanna waste his money on some fancy restaurant on the first date
There are plenty of restaurants that are relatively inexpensive that are Not fast food.
@NightFlirt yeah but whatever
Lol you're 16.. ofcourse you'd go to McDonalds
When you reach after 20, your opinion will change
Not "whatever"
You wouldn't know any standards yet little girl
If you still would go mcdonalds on first date with a guy after 20, you got poor taste in guys lol
Dude I’ve never been to mcdonalds, I’m not American. I’m not saying I would go but a guy shouldn't have to spend all his money on a girl he doesn't know on a first date... even if that was so romantic, you can't just stay as a spoiled brat.. on my first date with my ex he bought us soda and we went bowling and shit, NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT FOOD.
LMFAOOO so what if McDonalds is American?
It's a global business.
Its EVERYWHERE.
I'm in Australia and McDonlds is in every suburb
And this question is not even about food, little girl.
Read the question properly
Its all about 'first date' - making a FIRST GOOD impression on someone you like, someone you're attracted to.
McDonalds or any other food places for a first date is a NO GO for most GROWN women.
Imagine if she makes over $80,000 salary, and a man takes her on a date to McDonalds?
LOL you bet he will never hear from her again
You are right, not everything is about food when it comes to dating. It's a matter of doing something enjoyable to you.
Sure, why not? I like McDonald's and see nothing wrong with going there on a date.
Not for dinner. But maybe for ice cream afterwards.
No I wouldn’t ever go to mc Donald’s. that’s why it’s better to plan dates mutually.
If its first casual date then nothing can be better then Mc D.
No. I don’t eat meat. I’ll be happy with Burger King though. (They have the impossible burger now)
Sorry the only thing I pick up at Mc Ds is a coffee the odd time.
I want to say No but mistakenly I put yes
Why No
McD is crowded and noisy Eat and go
We need to talk to know each other
We don’t date to eat
That’s why I say No to McD
Yes, if he’s really fine and you know how you be hungry af after you cum so... why not lol
Im fine with just going there to pick up some food during the first date and then going out on a nice walk or somewhere, I'm broke too. It can be a part of the date, but not the main one
No i woudnt go there for a date lol. A pub lunch or restaurant would be fine tho
