How can I get a girlfriend being a skinny 22 year old who looks 16?

As you can see I don't look the worst but I'm get really down thinking that girls aren't interested in me purely based on the physical aspects of me. So what can I do to change things? I eat a lot and I don't really gain any weight so I don't work out because there's nothing really to burn off, and I look older with my beard and moustache but Iook better without it, so what do I do?

Is it my self beliefs that are the problem here? Because I've only ever been with girls at least 3 years younger than me, and sadly never been with a girl over 18, but I've only been in one real relationship...and that was really short.

And do standards have anything to do with it?

Can any of you girls give me a straight honest answer as to why I'm still single and how I can change things?

I know you are a good listener, open to change, an analyzer and probably an affectionate person. A Woman's best friend but like you've said, you're missing manliness.

Now, the qualities you have are great and you should never give those things up as that's who you are but rather than thinking you are "changing," think you are improving.

So your profile is about who you are but the way you describe it comes off "i am this and that and I'm a diva." I can't describe exactly what gives off that vibe but it does.

I have a friend who is good looking but he's just a diva, he gets moody and wants to share his emotions all day... So unless he finds a manly girl, women don't want another women.

If I were you, I'd find more manly men and they will make you less girly. Being around them you'll sort of get to know what being more masculine is about. Sounds stupid but here's an example:

I am competitive and my friends generally are not, however when I'm around I make everyone else more competitive. So by being around masculine guys (who don't dance or write poetry) you'll soak some of their qualities.

Easier said than done but if you do want to add more masculinity to your personality, you're going to have to start doing more dude stuff.

Like think a girl wants a guy who can't change a tire, fix general things around the house, cry with her or can't throw a ball? I'm not implying these are things you can't do but they want a man, just like we want a girl to not sh1t, fart and weigh more than us.

I've once heard my girlfriend tell me after what I thought I might have been mean to her, "I'm glad you don't let me get away with things, that would be annoying."

I totally understand what you mean...I don't really sound like a real man or guy in the way I describe things. But I do get bouts where I feel kinda down and somewhat moody, so you're right. I need to take up boxing or something (something I actually have been planning to do for a while. So that sounds like an idea

Some people need to do extra work to lose weight, you may want to try to gain weight. I'm not talking about eating an extra candy bar between work but getting on a diet.

well yeah I do tend to think I'm a lesbian trapped in a mans body...and I do kinda seem/act somewhat moreso feminine than manly, like I hate sports and prefer writing poetry and my advice giving work but it does go both ways, so maybe I need to man up more..But I don't want to have to change who I am because I want a girl to like me for me, but maybe I need to even it out more. If I was you, I would have a lot of meat and high protein foods and lift weights to put on muscle. Even if you couldn't bulk up, you would still become toned. Beards are also not bad, just make sure it isn't scraggly or anything. You may think you look better without, but it really is just preference.

And why not try finding women who also look younger? They probably are just as frustrated as you are.

Honestly, I don't know you, so I can't say for certain. However, I really don't think you're relationship status is just about how you look.

Women like confident men who are strong (emotionally and physically) who can protect them. Look up "how to attract a woman" online for some tips on how to be more attractive.

How many times have you randomly told a woman she has beautiful eyes or hair or something sweet like that? You could also compliment her abilities. Find things to lightly tease her about, without being rude. Open doors, give flowers(after you think she finds you attractive), help her when she is in need, ask her out to dinner and pay for it (paying for the meal puts in in "dating" not just "we are friends going out for lunch"), do sweet things.

Getting women to find you attractive is so much more than how you look. Sure, that is a big part of it, but many men who are "so so" in looks are far more attractive than any Abercrombie model.

well that's the thing, I know a lot of what your saying and I actually make more of an effort than most guys...minus the dieting and working out. I'm confident, and I can approach any girl and tell her straight up how beautiful she is, I'm totally sweet, romantic and a perfect gentleman, but I've been rejected by every girl I have ever been interested in...only the ones I don't want usually go for me. My guess is it could be I act a tad too feminine, so I don't act as manly as I should

You need to get the women you are interested in to see you as equal or superior to them. If you act like a needy door mat, you won't get any woman's affection. There is such a thing as too sweet and romantic. Flirtatious teasing isn't a bad idea.

Just be yourself. Really, it sounds corny, but it is true. A fake you won't be as attractive as you. Understand that these women probably won't even matter to you in a year. If they reject you, just move on.

Act more maturely...that will help with people's perception of you. They see you as you see yourself. Ans as you see yourself as a guy who is actually 16, never had a girlfriend who's older than 18...they see the same thing.

Start believing in yourself, (you really don't look 16, so don't worry about that), and ad least try seeming more confident and soon enough you will be more confident.

well girls never look beyond because they probably never give me the chance to get to. I don't have many friends so 95% of the girls I meet that I'm interested in are random girls I've met on the street,club or somewhere similar

Just be yourself and try to find a style that you are comfortable with. You shouldn't have to change yourself for anyone. You may not even realize that someone could potentially be eyeing you right now but you are too worried about your physical attributes. Just stay confident as well because that is something that cannot fade unless you let it. Also to make a suggestion, try joining a group of an activity that you really like because you may find someone their.

I think you have not met your soul mate yet,i don't think it is your structure because if a lady truly loves you she wouldn't look at your appearance. I personally that's the kind of guy I want so don't worry you will find a girlfriend.
