Do women not mind getting out of their clothes while at the woman's locker room?

a while back I remember asking a question about how we Americans are so damn afraid of nudity and I remember one of the female's users who answered said how she was terrified of nudity herself until one day at a vacation trip she noticed one of her Latino friends got undress in front of her and realize that no harmful outcome came out of that. this did not surprise me at all cause I'm Latino myself and nudity is literally nothing to us.

but till then I kinda found this surprising for even an American woman. I mean don't women come out their clothes at the locker rooms? I'm pretty sure most American women have been to a gym or had to have mandatory access to the locker rooms in high school or college for their gym class or general showers.

as a person who has been hitting the gym since middle school, I can say that homophobia and voyeurism have never existed in any of the male locker rooms I've used.

I've never been comfortable with it. I refused to undress in the locker rooms in school for gym class, mostly because I was a chubby teen and I knew how cruel and judgmental teenage girls can be. I've always just been extremely private with my body as well. It's just the way I am.

During my time in high school & college, I assumed every other girl was just as straight as I was. So, there were no real concerns back then. Nowadays, with so many people being "confused" as to what they are, I'd be uneasy being in a locker room scenario.

I dont know if thats an "American" thing or not but I have a gay friend and im afraid to undress in front of him but other than that no im not afraid of nudity!

i wanna be in that locker room. yeah, americans are afraid of nudity and ironically it's where most of the world's pornography is made. hell that might be why!

Back in school I never minded it but most other girls did. They all would wait in a line to change in a bathroom. I remember one time specifically I got bullied for it and called gay cuz me and my friend changed next to each other. I was like whatever I'm not gonna wait in that line lol

After a first few days in middle school I was self conscious about it, but the more I got into swimming, I got used to it to the point where I just started undressing, I didn't care.
