The intended use is to make the pictures fun and silly. I don't think girls need to use them to show their beauty. Natural, non-filtered photos are where the real beauty and cuteness show 😊

If there's a few photos on their social media account, I get they're probbably doing it for fun but if all their photos are filtered it raises a red flag for insecurity.

It's harmless fun if you are posting it on your social media, provided you are not overdoing it.
If it is a dating site, just make sure you don't give the wrong impression about your looks or age if you want a good result
